Trials of Osiris (ToO) is a new game mode that was introduced to Destiny that has better connection, necessary equipment, and more challenging combat that rewards more skilled players. However, this combat is not challenging and difficult enough to be considered a “champion’s” experience. 1) There are “boons” that create easier and more casual and relaxed wins/loses. 2) People can see their killer anywhere on the map permanently. 3) You only have to win 7 games and you can lose 1 to get to the Light House. 4) Players can delete their trials passage and start again from a clean slate. This is, for one, is all too easy and allows players to get to the light house when they are not very good or great at the game in the first place just for getting wins with groups quitting out and people leaving games. This is all ridiculous and is so easy that even .05 k/d people can get a trials passage and emblem from multiplayer. So, now what am I talking about? I’ll tell you: Champions of Osiris The game type will be the same as ToO with a few crucial differences. 1) Must beat ToO to qualify and get to the Light House with 9 win points. 2) Will be monthly and count each week of winning ToO. 3) Permanent CoO passage token that cannot be deleted. 4) 10 wins, can lose 2 times, 3rd loss permanently bans player from CoO for the month. 5) Different, random, map each point of every match (meaning the map cycles even in a match every point). 6) Heavy ammo only spawns once on a random round (meaning it could be the first round, or not spawn at all if a team wins before the random round). 7) Dedicated hosted servers for near perfect connection every game. 8) Each game is checked for players using cheats like lag switch, mods, including modded controllers (like instakill pistols in GoW or CoD), and hacks and bans them from Destiny immediately if present while in CoO (or at least from CoO). 9) If dropped from a game, the player who was dropped is the only one who can join back with all stats intact within a certain time (5 min for example). 3/2 match will cancel the match and reward the person who quit with 2 losses to record. 10) Honorable rejoin if dropped if all players do not kill each other after one person is dropped so they can rejoin for 5 minutes. If players kill each other in 3/2 then all present players get 1 awarded loss and match is cancelled. When player gets 10 wins and less and not 3 losses then the can access a special area that anyone who accesses can access on one permanent server in Osiris’s court (or something) with a great view and can hang out with other players who beat the CoO honorably and with dignity and integrity. All people like Eris and Varrik will have an emissary at the location and can access everything they have available that day or week from every, and future, DLC’s and original with bonus content. If a player beats the CoO with 10 wins and 0 losses legit, then the player access a special chest with only exotics (and many) with extremely high chance for House of Wolves set items and weapons with treasure keys, etheric lights, etc, and one special item that can be equipped/unequipped from the main menu like the helmat in the tower that is something really awesome like a golden light full body or angel wings (like Tyrael from the Diablo series or like the angel wing guy from X-Men) but something really awesome. I firmly believe that this would create not only one of the most challenging events to get in gaming history, but provide an awesome way to get great gear, create a great community of skilled players, and firmly mark in multiplayer history that the Champions of Osiris was one of the most skill-based and honorable multiplayer games in history.
