I feel screwed
So destiny is slowly becoming halo. All the hard work in raids and iron banner means nothing. Meeting people to run with to become top level and now all you have to do is two weeks of strikes and stroll on down to the vanguard and buy level 32. And a flawless trials card Is the only way to get the good stuff now. So if you aren't a PvP god or know someone who can carry you through then you are out of luck. So sorry. And by the way you can't complete your grimoire if you dont go to the destiny Valhalla. Keep this up and only 188,442 people are gonna play this game. But here I am grinding through like always. But I doubt the bungie crew cares.

Sounds like you should find another game. If Destiny isn't fun for you anymore, why play? I'm not trolling you or trying to be mean or anything, but you seem dejected and maybe need a change. Personally, I like the new focus on PvP. Before HoW, PvE was the only way to get good gear, and I grinded it like many others. Having rewards for PvP now shows Bungie listened to earlier recommendations and I'm sure they'll make changes to appease people like yourself. Going flawless in trials isn't the only way to get good gear. I'm still running much of the gear I used before and have ascended it. The new weapon, IMO, are mediocre. I've even gone to the factions for armor that is useful. Speaking of trials, with the boons and a decent team, you only have to go 3-3 to get the armor. If that's not doable, then there are other options for good gear.

Why not grab vanguard armor that will get you through the higher leveled events, like all the others, and then get the armor that you WANT, such as the raid or arena gear.

except halo had good PvP with lots of variety not mention social games/vehicles that required teamwork to win/use not to mention a story and open chat so you could be social

3 RepliesI think of this DLC, as kinda like if GTA released a pre-paid expansion that was focused on playing soccer, or if Fifa 16 was a focused a massively multiplayer online first person shooter. It’s not what we signed up for, this should have been a separate deal to be fair, why wasn’t it? Cause that would’ve meant being upfront fair, and even honest. You didn’t ask for this. You didn’t ask for this because this is not Destiny… this is Call of Destiny… Wait I'm wrong to say that CoD had way more going on. Disregard. Wont say farewell, but I will say I have learnt my lesson on how how you (Bungie) operate, and will wait for facts about your games in the future.

I wish it was more like Halo, at least in multiplayer. Otherwise, you are 100% correct. Neither PvP or PvE should force you to play the other to get what the game offers. It should be cause you want to experience it. They could have quest that take you to the other but that should also be available for what you like to play or the way you like to play.

They aint getting anymore of my money. Each release, at least to me and its my opinion, has been worse than the previous one.

Crucible is more of an improved version of what COD does these days........ Oh but yeah Destiny is way too PvP focused that's for sure. Totally agree. Yeah

1 ReplyDid you play from day 1? Did you experience the endless weeks of grinding? If you have, then there is no reason to complain about how people can almost instantly get to 32/33. I for one am happy it took me a few hours to get to level 34. I don't want to grind for weeks anymore.

Buying Level 32 wasnt that Hard. Playing since Beta, it was hard to Grind to Level 30. There was no Other Chance than grinding the RAID. TDB came out, boom. Everyone was Level 31, One Level above the Raiders. The Gear became totally obsolete

1 ReplyBump... with the additional comment, that makes me wonder if I'll buy future updates; as so far they are they are more for PVP, followed closely by Group efforts. I do like playing with others, sometimes, but its would be nice to be able to attain good stuff playing solo.
