So like a few people here, I tend to focus on one character and dont pay too much attention to m other two, but now that I'm trying to maximize my income for keys and strange coins, Ive realized something crucial. Whenever I get a gift for ranking up in something or I get a Queen's Praise, I don't get anything Legendary. Instead of a key all I get is spinmetal, and cryptarch just gives me rare engrams. I just thought I was strange, but when I talked to my other friends, when they get a reward from the Queen, they always get a key. So I was thinking about the differences between my main character and my two subs when my main was at their level, and I think I've figured out what it was. By the time my main was level 29, He was past rank 3 in the vanguard, but since I speed ran through all the stories with my subs and the armor that they have Ive gotten from my main, they never reached rank 3 in the Vanguard. tldr: So my question here is that do you have to be past rank 3 in vanguard/crucible to be getting legendary rewards for completing tasks or ranking up in different areas?
