Factions, Crucible and Vanguard package no longer give you gear?
I'm not sure if this is a glitch or supposed to happen, but the last 2 rank ups I got a mote of light and a strange coin. No weapons or gear. Just curious of there's any point in ranking up anymore
Update: thanks for all the replys, I've figured it out and have gotten a few things after posting this.

I got a couple weapons and armor pieces the first day of the dlc. Since then I've leveled up dead orbit multiple times and crucible and vanguard once, haven't got anything other then a mote of light or a coin, oh and one dead orbit emblem I've got at least 12 times before.

There's zero point for me to get gear anyway. Anything I get from factions, I have to delete, as my vaults full of better gear.

Still rng armor/weapons/motes/coins/shaders/ships are all available from packages but shards and energies were taken out so you'll probably get a lot of packages of just motes or coins.

1 ReplySame here. But only since HoW went live.The last three times I ranked up I got nothing. Before I got a package from my faction at every rank up. I received quite a lot of weapons that way... Something else... After doing a daily event and get gold tier rating, you are not getting ascendant materials anymore? Only get a mote or a blue engram. Why is that?

1 ReplyI got a rocket launcher yesterday. I have not gotten a legendary from thr cryptarc since like January. Not even joking. I thought he never gave them in packages anymore until someone said they got one.

They still do. Just not as frequent as the old days. This had been going on for awhile since TDB.

got some warlock armor on my titan from fwc yesterday. still giving out gear. just doesn't happen every time.

The Faction packs have horrendous RNG. Im trying my damnedest to get this BS noticed.

5 RepliesIt's called RNG. You can't just open two packages and call it quits. It's never a guaranteed piece of gear.

I've turned in about a dozen faction packages now and only 5 or so actually gave me gear. Some only give you a single mote...
