Ok so we can get the achievement when the mythic pack comes when it's bundled into the limited halo wars but we have to wait until recon comes out to get the armor? how -blam!- up is that? Also why tell us now? this means that you've given us a full year to foam at the mouth waiting for it, why not tell us oh I don't know, like the month before it becomes available. Why do you like to tell us things long in advance? That's like torture! I still appreciate the fact that you've given us the chance to get it at all though. [Edited on 11.15.2008 8:11 PM PST]

I actually wanted to try to do something amazing to get Recon, getting the achievments to get it just seems.....weak. Unless Bungie has another armor (other than flaming) to achieve by graer means then I think I am dissapointed in them.

Yes!!!!!!! I can finally attain the Recon Armor! Soon my collection will be complete. Oh and BTW I can't wait for the December issue of GI.

I will laugh at all who have recon, because it will be soo easy to get ROFL, and now I can stop trying to shoot my self in the head with a Plasma Pistol. (sneeky sneeky Bungie, I like your style, way to sell the new game)

I love the intentionally vague answers to how long Recon will be. Yeah, I'm sure it will have a "near infinite" amount of playtime, lulz. Is it that hard to say how many levels will be in the game? Or perhaps you don't want to get that specific, since it might be as much of a let down as, say, a 9 level game being the so called "Return of the King" of the Halo triology? Taking bets now: Recon has 5 or 6 campaign levels, tops. I'd honestly be shocked if we even got that many. This combined with the all new 3-map Mythic map pack (where did the other 3 go? Recon marketing land?) and the "YOU CAN WEAR RECON IF YOU BUY RECON LOLOL PLZ BUY OUR EXPANSION" tone of the update is going to combine for a very hilarious September / October next year.

As ironic as it is... I am actually sad that I will be getting Recon by the means that I will achieve it... I feel bad for the people who earned it before the expansion comes out. A marketing ploy... I thought some pedestals could not be toppled by money.. I suppose I was incorrect.

I am extremely excited to finnaly get a shot at recon but... what about the people who workes so hard for reconz? I fully expect that they will get something even better (maybe flaming head then you guys could give yourselfs flaming body or something) or it would beeee teh suxor1!!!!111!!!!!!!!!!1!!!one!!!!!!!!!!!!elevin!!!!!! We can get Recon Armor! Sweet. But at the same time, it will be kinda disappointing when so many people have recon. Are you guys going to make a new armor just for Bungie? I hope so. A lot of people made amazing things in order to try to earn recon. Now that will all change.

We can haz reconz!!!! :D I know, i know, now everyone is going to have it now and all that. But still. :) Also think about...We get recon, everyone is happy, then bungie gos and makes another cool armor like recon that they can only have. Then everyone is gonna be like "screw recon!
