PoE needs checkpoints after rounds
The PoE desperately needs checkpoints similar to the raids - why wasn't this included?

5 RepliesI'm guessing that bungie wanted to stop the checkpoint abuse that happens with the raids, so they didn't add checkpoints to POE. However all they had to do was only allow players to join a checkpoint if they already hold the checkpoint. This way the checkpoints couldn't be shared as players would needed to have played through to the checkpoint to get it. Not sure why bungie didn't implement this simple mechanic unless it was to artificially increase play time stats by forcing players to start from the beginning each time!

I say one check point at round three. Maybe give it 24 hour expiration.

I hope it is implemented soon. I don't want to have to spam the boss with gallys because we all need to go do family things. I would like to use other weapons and just try out crazy fun tactics on all the higher levels. Idk. Just have fun!? Like a game is for. Fun right? Or am I missing something... Bump* for check points Before anyone says they will be abused. Having no check points has proven worse. Guy gets kicked at boss because no gally or what ever. Team brings in third off lfg to finish boss. Check points would at least give that guy kicked a cp and people wouldn't mind running it because they have time to start there. With different weapons and strategies.
