This is a blatant issue whenever an inevitable religious/atheistic thread pops up.
Open minded definition: "willing to consider new ideas; unprejudiced."
For theists: be willing to accept that you may be completely wrong and that the other party might be right.
For atheists: be willing to accept that you may be completely wrong and that the other party might be right.

Or simply, pick an axe and open your head :D
-
Bash open your head

There is one way to be "open minded": Let the answers to questions lead you to your beliefs instead of letting your beliefs lead to the answers of questions.

Too bad if the atheists are right, nobody will know. If the theists are right they will know. Unless technology changes that 0.0

Atheists have logic, science, and evidence supporting them. There's no chance we're wrong.

Edited by U6757109: 5/29/2015 10:59:15 AMAtheists and Agnostics belong to the same crowd: Unaffiliated. And let's be honest, they are pretty much the same thing.

Agnostic for the win

As an atheist I am perfectly aware and accept that I could be wrong... It's pretty easy...

Edited by Drakus Darksoul: 5/29/2015 5:53:37 AMITT: close minded anti-theist hypocrisy

Open mindedness means considering all ideas, not accepting all ideas. Atheists aren't closeminded just because we don't believe in god.
-
How about no Dogma isn't open minded In the debate between Ken Ham and Bill Nye they were asked a simple question: What would change your mind? Nye simply said: "Evidence." You know what Ken Ham said? "Nothing." Therein lies the rub. I am open minded, but extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, as Carl Sagan once said.

1. Present all viewpoints as equally valid 2. Draw a non-conclusion like "well they both have good points" 3. ???? 4. Open-mindedness
-
Hell yeah agnosticism
-
Agnostics are professional fence riders lol

True, but there is also the need to understand that there are certain things we do not need to think of as possibly being wrong, so a view that encompasses that, does not have to be given merit.
