BUNGIE always disconnected

most of you who are looking at this topic right now have probably seen my username around this last week but for the sake of this post I'll start from the beginning. I have 2 Xboxones (one wired and the other wireless) Since the last patch (pre HOW) I have been disconnected every 5-10 minutes. Baboon, beetle, weasel, kingfisher, it doesn't even matter what error code I get anymore. I literally can not play this game anymore. My record of staying connected is about 20 minutes now, not long enough or reliable enough to do anything worth while. I need REAL help from BUNGIE. I've tried to be patient and I've tried to be understanding, but I'm at a loss. And BUNGIEHELP before you post your networking guide, let me give you a run down of what I've done this last week to resolve my issues: MICROSOFT: I've made several calls to both networking department and gaming department. I've hard reset my Xbox, power cycled, reset the MAC address, deleted and reinstalled destiny, deleted and reinstalled my profile, I've changed my DNS, my IP. I can play any other game with no problem ( even before all my troubleshooting) and I still can't play destiny. Microsoft's answer to me is BUNGIE/ DESTINY is the problem. But I continued with faith. NETWORK: I've gone through your troubleshooting guide, I've done it all. Port forwarding, wired connection, open NAT, I've even disconnected everything else in my home and did a internet>modem>console hard connection. Nothing in your guide has worked even slightly, if my connection stayed up longer than the average, it was a fluke. Again I'll restate that I can play any other game, and that I've had destiny since release but this problem has only started since last patch. But despite everything I thought maybe if my voice was heard I could make a difference for me as well as the other individuals on this forum with my same woes.... CONTACTING BUNGIE: this part is perhaps the most comical. I've done it all. I've called a number I found, it is just a loop of endlessly not finding an operator after being referred to the BUNGIE website. Forums; I've been ignored for the last week and a half by all BUNGIEHELP users, or at the very least that is what it looks like. I've been posting on the larger threads about this issue, no moderator has dared stick his/her head out bar the one time they suggested their networking guide. I even made a Twitter account to contact bungie through the only other way I know how. My Twitter is @chrisxchaosB, I've tweeted @bungiehelp several times with pictures of my disconnects and references to this forum, no response despite tweeting @bungie an hour after one of my tweets. I've even gone as far to tweet @DEEJ_BNG again referring to my issue and a picture of a lost I hade on these forums, no response was given. But my favourite part of all of this is that despite a portion of this community having the same issue, trying to make their voices heard, bungie's top issues are getting ToO emblems to people... Their is no word from bungie about this problem, the weekly reset has come (I had hope) and I'm still having the same issue. Microsoft today has said to me that their is no note/word from bungie to Microsoft that their is even an issue... We are forgotten and ignored. So please BUNGIE, I'm trying to relax about this issue I really am, but you've given me every single reason to be frustrated. I can't stand it. And to everyone else who follows in the same category as me, contact Microsoft/Sony, tweet them, post on these forums endlessly, make our voices heard because APPARENTLY we don't exist. So let's exist

  • Im having the same problems as you..spent over an hour on the phone with microsoft and they did a complete scan of my system..router and modem..my speed is excellent but still cant keep from being booted from the servers...i get the feeling bungie dont really care about us...they have collected our money and seem to have went on vacation to hawaii ...all the while sitting back and laughing at our gripes...sorry its just the way i feel
