Not a ghalihorn
Prison of elders has made the lack of not owning a ghalihorn even more a likelihood of being excluded from playing with a group. Beside adding more pressure to clans, friends and gamesmenship, its dumb to make parts harder for those who do not possess it. Having played a lot since the beta (as in nearly all time played of 50 days and never getting one is no big deal to me, I've dismantled 5 thunderlords and 4 monte carlos and exotics that others have never had. First it was POE 35 last week then the containment fields on 34 this week. there is fun, there is challenging and the is stupid with Elder scrolls on line. Even though I put in 10 hours in poe, my hands gave up before I did. The part that several players either told me about being excluded by players or those swearing off playing the game because someone there misses the point of fun or fairness.

This is why I left my old clan ,elitist pos exclude some of there best players from endgame activities. I have had mine since week 2 but never leave anyone out ,god forbid uou might actually have to use strategy to kill a boss besides spamming it with rockets. I avoid players that demand gallys ,they usually suck.

Not only that but I prefer Dragon's Breath over the Gjallarhorn all day, even on bosses half of the time. What are you saying about Gjallarhorn? I think skill is lacking...

I just wanna say I've played since beta My first gally dropped last week, I appreciate it makes fights easier but I would never exclude anyone who didn't have it, not all gally owners are exclusive elitist pricks :p

I sympathize with you man I'm a day one guardian and have never had it drop. I wish that when you dismantled a weapon it decreased the likely hood of seeing it again in the loot pool. I have in my time seen 20 something suros regimes 10 plan c and 8 universal remotes. I don't need that many of those weapons. I'm happy with the shards but really hate being treated like a 2nd rate guardian because I have no ghorn.

Use Arc snipers on Skolas .. LDR 5001 or Efferdets spear .. Ect .. Anything that puts out high crit and staggers him.. No GHorn required .. Search YouTube for tutorials .

1 ReplyI think they can make it a bounty and it wouldn't hurt the game at all. If its a bounty it will need to be the hardest one in the game. Granted people would still complain on how hard it is to obtain if it was. But it would shut a lot of people up and at least everyone would have a chance to get it. Other than that u just ran my first ever raid (yeah I'm one of those) and I saw someone get vex and ghorn. Am I mad no but just waiting my days to get one as I am getting more exotic's and exotic bounties.

2 RepliesWhen something becomes so essential to finding groups and is only available unreliably (via the blessing of RNGesus which continues to elude me), it's a problem. The way I see it, either Gjallarhorn needs a nerf (Just to bring it roughly in line with other options so that groups would be willing to settle for those without it), or it needs a more reliable means of acquisition such as an exotic bounty.
