At the moment there seem to be no benefit what so ever to using them because of two main factors, one, you aim at the target and it completely misses even though your dot was right on the target, even at close range. This is extremely irritating as you have no control over the spread. It needs to be a lot more tighter and accurate considering most are one bullet at a time. And its negative side, the range, to make it balanced the range had to go down, but there is too much spread. The sidearm should be accurate at ALL ranges but have this large damage drop off near to you. You fire 15 bullets off and it always ends up with only 5 hitting because the bullet doesn't hit where you are aiming. If those 5 bullets did 6 damage each, it would be a lot better if it was all 15 hitting and each doing 2 damage as i would know the bullets are going where they are aiming. At the moment, people are only using sidearms because they are new and most will likely start to be discarded soon. There two ways in fixing it at the moment i feel. One, decrease the spread so it has near laser beam accuracy and reduce the range but increase the stability. Or decrease the spread again, keep range as it is, and reduce stability and fire rate and little. NOTICE: both need the bullet spread reduced to near laser beam accuracy as guns are meant to do damage, not miss due to no fault of your own. (sorry for the long paragraph :) )
