Did you kill qodron?
Did you kill this pain in the ass?
Edit: Obviously majority of yall say gally to death. Some Maybe most players still don't have the gally. I personally don't and have been playing since beta.
I want to thank everyone who gave helpful strategies and tutorials. Will really help the non 34 gally to death people. Thanks
Edit 2: thanks for more helpful feedback guys. More strategies and different ways to bring him down. Hopefully I can find a group that can work together to get him.

Go left ledge... That way you can always see the Eye, he drops off of the center ledge in pretty much the same place each. Have at least one guardian with a fast fire shotgun for detain fields and the Eye, and to focus on close adds. One guardian to DPS Qodron, and the third to help knock back adds further away and also DPS Qodron. Stick together and you just might win this. Mix up your classes, a bubble and a self res and and an invis helps.

We used the same tactic we use for literally every boss in the game. As soon as we walked in, Titan put up a bubble, Qodron was hit with many Gjallarhorn rockets, was dead in a matter of 30ish seconds.

No unfortunately. Were 3 33's with maxed 365 Gjallarhorn's. We were so close at one point, but those Hobgoblins hit really damn hard. We eventually gave up. Guess I'll reach 34 next week.

I was in a fireteam of 2 x 33s and myself 34. We came so close a few times and got very unlucky... It was just so late at that point that we had to go to bed, but it's definitely doable - just not particularly fun...

Yes we did and no we didn't Did it with 2 34's n a 33 both 34's had Max ghorn 33 had HoC. Went left eye would come to us kill it, break bubbles n work on boss. We had a 33 Titan I think he had blessings of light on to help keep us alive a 34 warlock n I was a hunter with the new nighthawk helm (things beast for breaking the bubbles one shot down 2-3) Second time 2 hunters n a Titan n we just couldn't get it. Things like the eye not showing up till 2 seconds before detainment. We came close a few times. I'll come to it if I don't just run ToO at weekend. Not like lvl 34 gives the good stuff anyway.

We beat him camping on the far left side 2 hunters one titan. We had one guy watch out for the jailbreaker another guy DPS Qodron and the 3rd guy killing ad's and DPSing the boss. When the detain was about to happen we would group together. Took a few tries but we got him deaded on like the 5th go around. He is tuff def harder than 34 Urrox or Skolas w/Solar burn. With 2 titans I think Qodron would be a lot easier. You can pop blessing bubble right before the detain happens and stand on the edge of the bubble this way you can walk in and out of the blessing bubble while you are detained trying to shoot your way out.

Nope, and the sad thing is we all had Ghorns, But we couldn't rocket spam him because we had to dodge the Line Rifle fire from Hobgoblins, once he starts the detainment bs, the wheels come off. 2 hours of frustration before everyone left, I will beat him 3 times this week though, I want that fusion Varyks is selling -

After about 6 wipes we realized that there's a litter goblin that's silvery that you have yo kill. He'll give this buff called jail breaker and it gives you bonus damage against the detain field

Bring a sunsinger with self res. That way, you dont wipe if you mess up with killing the eye in time, as he can be tricky to spot sometimes.

It's really easy if you take it nice and slow! I two manned it with a friend and it took 45 minutes. PM me if you would like to know how we did it

Same strategy as ever: gally the living shit out of him worked for me

After a couple hours of trying we got him. In fact, we got him 2 times. But one of those times he took us down with him :(

Edited by S7Oracle: 5/27/2015 2:35:22 AMWe managed to finally get him down after about an hour and a half without Gjallarhorn and with a well coordinated team of two 34s and one 33. We figured out a strategy pretty quickly, but it took us a while to get it on point, put eventually we persevered. To be honest, as frustrating as the boss was, I felt pretty proud for beating him after all of that effort, it was a nice (and equally as frustrating) surprise.
