Hello Desticles.
This isn't a rage post. Or an 'Alternative suggestion' peacekeeping post.
No - what I want to know is:
Do YOU use a weapon other than Thorn, Felwinter's Lie, SUROS Regime, The Last Word, Vex Mythoclast, any shotgun in general etc.?
If so then WHAT weapon? What are its PERKS? What ARMOUR do you have to stack it up? What Class Perks?
In short: What is YOUR PvP setup?

I like to use the MIDA Multi-Tool with a gunslinger hunter that uses a swarm grenade and dual burning throwing knives. Golden gun with penetration and either Mask of The Third Man or the Radiant Dance Machines.

Edit 2: I know that SUROS shouldn't be on the list as it is now, so I mean pre-nerf version seeing as people spammed that for everything.

Setup currently: Gunslinger Vision of Confluence/Fang of Ir Yut Lord of Wolves ToO Rocket Got 7k+ points in Control. It was hilarious.

I use Zero Point LOTP (scout) praedyths revenge and ghorn with my sunsinger and i dont use self rez i use harder to kill while radiance and fusion grenade x2

MIDA/B-Line Trauma/Hawkmoon/VoC/whatever tickles my fancy Black Hammer/Two to the Morgue (situational. You wouldn't use a sniper rifle in a close quarters map, would you? Impractical.) BTRD/Deviant Gravity/Exodus with proximity and tripod/Truth: because it hurts.

2 RepliesI prefer to use Red Hand IX with explosive rounds and a charge coils backed void fusion rifle (Purifier VII I think), and Truth (for lols). But recently, I have gone the Thorn way because I don't have the Etheric juice to up the damage of non-exotics. So sorry to disappoint you. I shall return to fighting like a gentleman when I have picked up my 10th/11th glowing globs of Etheric loveliness. Until then I shall remain in the poisonous congregation of the church of Dredgen Yor and fire green splinters at my enemies.

1 ReplyI never use exotic primaries in normal PvP, and I rarely use exotics at all. I generally run Jewel of Osiris/Up The Ante, depending on how I feel, Judgement VI/Snakebite Surgeon and The Ash Dispenser/Thunderlord
