Treasure Keys never drop
I've only had 4 treasure keys(3 from finishing the quest chain on my characters) and one from pre patch with an ether key. The chances of getting treasure keys is way too rare.
Obviously the loot in the game is all RNG based, but why not add in something to the PS/XB store to buy treasure keys for some kind of price that people could buy with their own irl money?
Also, I finished a 35 PoE and didn't get a chance to get the ship, armor shader, and emblem because no treasure key.......

I think you should get a key for each difficulty completion once a week. Then the extras you can spend when you run PoE again

1 ReplyAgreed. Keys should not be on the typical RNG system. They should be somewhere specific, with specific guidelines on getting them. Bungie cannot expect their players to sit around for hours...and hours...and hours...with a very high likelihood of NOT getting a key.

I think its horrible design. I think they felt between the cores and the etheric light that people would feel they are getting enough of a reward and that when/if they ever have a key it will be a cherry on top like getting an exotic from a raid, Unfortunately, without a key the rewards seem to be strange coins and moats, which in my mind given the ease of acquiring them, so much worse than running a raid and only getting shards or energies. Sadly, in my experience (no key drops in many hours of farming) ill never see another key, which means after i hit level 34 on all characters next week, and get enough etheric light in the few following to level my preferred legendary, that i will see no reason to ever run PoE again which is a shame because itself isn't terrible.

3 RepliesI think it's funny that over the first 3 days, poe only racked up 9,000 final boss kills. For how many people supposedly play Destiny, and Bungie saying it had better initial day one playing versus Christmas noobs, how is it that there were less than 3,000/day? Seems like an awfully low number of players turning out to do poe.

I have played this game daily since launch. I agree this farming key crap is, well, crap. I beat the Prison on 32 and can't open the big chests ? Only the small crappy ones just to get strange coins which I already have over 380 of ? Thanks Bungie for trying to make me farm which bores me after 5 minutes and has made this game boring

Bungie, After changing so many things for the better. Why would you create a system that rewards players for farming keys. Seriously you shut down the loot cave because of farming why do you reward farming in one instance then completely abolish it in another. I like many others have to work and having to rely on the RNG for a treasure key to access a reward that i earned after a battle is a waste of time. Why do you constantly disrespect our free time. Enyoy your weekend apparently I'll have to farm during mine.

I'm lucky I guess, most I kno farming keys have got 1-3, maybe 4. I have probably got 14 or so? Baller status.
