Bungie why no Vasoline?
OK I am a decent gamer and I pride on being a decent all around player in this game. Yet I just ended a 2 1/2 hour run on PoE lv 34 and was plowed relentlessly by the flame prince. My team eventually disbanded and I have nothing to show for it but a bruised ego and butthole. Bungie my only suggestion the next time you decide to violate me, be considerate enough to use vasoline.

7 RepliesGotta have the right combination of teammates. At least one Titan Bubble with Blessing of Light a must. Combination of Gjallahorn and Black Hammer. Was easier than round 4. Arc burn against Hive in that tiny arena a Sadistic move IMHO

1 ReplyMy team did it first try. Best strategy is to get a titan bubble with blessings and jump up and out of it so that when you come back down you always get a shield then repeat. Even when we didn't have that as long as you avoid enemies the fire attack still can't damage you enough to kill you.

Do your homework next time, there is already a strategy to beat the flame prince. Jumping during his scorch time, defender Titans can melee an enemy for an over shield too. Popping a bubble with blessings can help protect the team too

Edited by Hooligantuan: 5/22/2015 4:26:52 PMI joined a friend's fight against Urrox after seeing it was just him and a buddy fighting. I was two levels under-level, still at 32. Apparently I ended up helping them wrap up an hours-long slog against that guy, which is good, but that Urrox fight is bullshit. That Searing Flames crap goes on for too long. It's a lazy Just-Kill-Everyone-Just-Because mechanic. They didn't even bother to design a visual effect for it. I'm pretty sure it's disproportionately unfair to Hunters, too, since they can't stay airborn as long. Really -blam!-ing glad I had Obsidian Mind on to keep relatively stocked on Fireborn resurrections, because if the Titan in the group didn't have his Ward ready? I was -blam!-ing dying. Every -blam!-ing time. I don't know if it's because they rolled Solar Burn for the encounter and there are other options, but I imagine it wasn't random. I am not a fan of Urrox.

Although I will say it was tough. A solid strategy will win. Took my team about 4 wipes to get it. A bubble will make it much Easier but it's not needed

Why should decent gamers be able to finish everything the game has to offer? Shouldn't there be something for the good players to do?
