Why is it OKAY to dismiss the greek gods as fiction and it is not okay when others dismiss yours? You don't know-and neither do I, the greek gods COULD be real just as much as Yahweh, Ala, etc. Even so, no evidence supports either, and a logical brain needs evidence for a claim, especially when it is a extraordinary claim.
Just wanted to say, and SHOCKER we could all me wrong.

Is rather prefer the Greek gods over The One. They're more relatable.

Why even talk about anything but Cthulhu? Cthulhu 2016
-
Why is it ok to dismiss the Greek gods as false? For the same reason we can dismiss most other gods as false. They aren't Thor.

Considering that they around before "God"...lol gods come and go, 1000s of years from now the bible will be like the Greek gods, Jesus will be akin to Hercules. Then another conversation will pop up on why cant God and Jesus be real if Poka'Fu and Rakaka are. Yes I just pulled those names from my ass lol.

They are real, however, they are Nephilim.

Because Norse mythology is the right mythology. Anyone who disagrees is a heathen.
-
what if they are all the same entity but in a different form.....we are talking about gods literally everything is possible
-
Kratos killed them all though, so what's the point in worshipping them?
-
You mean, why do people generally believe in one religion? I don't even understand the question... do you expect it to be unacceptable to not believe in every god or something?
-
Because there's hardly anyone who believes in Greek mythology.
-
Holy Ghost. Given by God to anyone who waits and meditates on Jesus (God manifest in flesh) Every other god is just made by man to explain this or that. Ever notice how the greeks had gods for the weather and romans had gods to represent planets and celts had gods to explain nature? They all call on the name of their gods and nothing ever happened. They could have made claims but they also got high believing that the incenses brought you closer to their god. Legit Christians (some do struggle with the addiction) don't smoke weed or get high and they speak in tongues and can interpret or lay hands on people or hear God and can make prophecies. You want to see who's God is real get the Holy Ghost. Remember other faiths thought smoking would make you more able to hear their god.

For one, Greek mythology includes many physical aspects. We can climb mount Olympus and see that there's no palace. We can go underneath Crete and see that there's no magical labyrinth. We can search the various islands in the Mediterranean and not find any evidence of a Cyclops. Just a thought.

I don't dismiss the Greek gods as fiction but merely as other viewpoints. To do so would make me a hypocrite since I would be doing the precise thing I criticize my Western Christian cousins for--reducing God/the gods to a matter of belief and religion to the affirmation of belief. However, I would say that your argument is way overplayed and to equivocate the gods of the ancient Greeks as well as most polytheistic cultures to that of the newer monotheistic concept of God as in the Abrahamic faiths is a bit inaccurate. The reason being that the former were by and large pantheistic--understood as literally being parts of the universe in the way that a tire is a part to an automobile. You may have the god of water or the god of thunder for example. With the advent of scientific thought and the subsequent "de-mystification" of the natural world so to speak, it's easy to see how the gods of such religions could be dismissed whereas the concept of God in the Abrahamic religions seems to be that of a creator or transcendent being, in which case, they at least can't be dismissed outright like the religions that came before them.
