Too easy to reforge weapons.
It's too cheap and too easy, I would prefer if it was more expensive and if you only could do it a finite amount of times. At least remove the option to reforge vendor bought weapons because it's just gonna end up with everyone having the same weapons and that's just boring.

Spent about 150 motes, 450 weapon parts, and you know like 30k glimmer and still didn't get the roll I wanted on a fusion rifle so no.

No. It's not. And the perks aren't that great, so what you pay for what you get matters very little. Drugs are bad.

The perks and stats are randomized whenever you roll the weapon - no one can simply pick the best perks and stats they desire. It is a luck of the draw. If they made it more expensive, then people would grind out a week glimmer and MoT farming, and then bitch in the forums when they got crap rolls.

It still takes a lot of mats/glimmer to get decent rolls though (unless your lucky). I spent 20 motes, and associated mats, to get good rolls on a new hand cannon and they were by no means the perfect rolls either so I could've kept spending if I hadn't given up.

No. It's fine and definitely not easy. I spent hundreds of motes re forging stuff. Glimmer was maxed and now I have nada...... It's fine the way it is.

I admit I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap it was. Admittedly its not so cheap that you can just re-roll until its completely perfect, but if you just want one perk in particular you can likely get it. How do I know it's not *too* cheap? I'm suddenly out of glimmer for the first time in about six months.

At the very least, a re-forge (random roll, by the way) gives players a chance to get perks they actually appreciate on weapons that may not have been mainstream if the forge did not exist. It's a good thing, it's a way to use materials that have been essentially useless until now.
