I usually just play with my best friend but my fireteam is always set to friends only. As such I sometimes have the occasional friends list Guardian join my fireteam out of nowhere. How do you guys feel about uninvited guests?
-
Most of the time I want the extra help as it makes things easier. I do get a little frustrated when they get the good rewards and I get another blue to add to my armor parts and weapon parts pile
-
On the outside: "yeah sure I don't care if people join" On the inside: "pls join me I don't want to be alone"

Edited by Asturoth: 5/17/2015 9:02:03 PMIf I don't want ppl to join I just set it to private otherwise I'm fine with people joining in. Actually I wish people did it more often really.
-
Depends on what I'm doing. Some days it's nice to just do some bounties by yourself. Though that being said if I don't want anyone to join I just make the fireteam closed or invite only.
-
I always set it to invite only, I hate when people drop in without asking.
-
Hell no. If you want to join, send me a message and ask, if I accept I'll invite you.
-
I'll join a party chat real quick and see if it's cool if I join the fire team, or if they aren't in a chat then I'll send a message to whoever I might know in the fireteam.
-
Depends on what I was doing. If it was something relatively difficult with good rewards then I don't have an issue with it. If it's just patrols then im not so happy about it.
-
I always want to join people randomly but don't because I don't wanna piss them off.
-
Well really if you don't want them to join just change the fireteam privacy.. If you leave it to open and somebody joins deal with it
-
No and i usually kick people who do if you are not invited stay out.
-
I don't mind until you join and start sucking. Then I'll just simply kick you and continue on with whatever I was doing.
-
I need to delete the randoms off my friends list.

Edited by Forgatal: 5/17/2015 9:48:00 PMAlmost everyone on my friends list is a clan mate or a good friend. So I don't mind that at all. What bugs the absolute -blam!- out of me though, is when I'm picking up randoms for something when no one is online on my friends list, and random ass people from THEIR friends list join the psn party or our fire team. It seems like everytime I pick up a random, they have some squeaker that comes attached to them that just sits in party chat talking about nothing relevant. Sometimes they're not even playing Destiny. Sometimes they are and demand someone get kicked from fire team so they can join, or keep begging people to leave and help them with something else. A randoms squeaker follower once broke focus for an entire raid until we all just called it off. TL;dr: only people I know are welcome.

I turned into those type of players who only play with they're clan. (I know) but I don't mind playing with about 5 players that I go way back with. other than that yeah I kinda get a little annoyed. but it's on me. I mean why do I have them on my friends list then right?
-
Ehh if I'm alone
-
It depends on who and when
-
There's been a few that's ok because we play all the time. But lately 2 separate people have jumped into raids / tower. I honestly can't stand it and removed both of them after several times. It's annoying AF to me
-
Happened never to me but if someone joins my team without sending at least a message I would boot him.
-
If I am in the middle of soloing Crota than no. That's why it's set to closed most of the time.
-
That is why my fireteam is set to closed so that cannot happen.
-
I don't mind if it's someone I know but if it's someone random, I'm leaving.
-
If I have given or accepted a friend request, I have given that person permission to join me whenever I'm set to friends only. I understand also that if I jump into a random friend's group and they had my slot designated for someone else, that I may be asked to leave or even booted if they forgot to set to invite only.

The more the merrier

Edited by Mobious28: 5/17/2015 7:42:28 PMTo be honest I don't mind personally if you don't want someone to join them make your fire team invite only
-
If they don't ask first I kick them. It's like someone showing up to your house without calling, I hate it.
