So last night me and an online friend decided to do a Weekly Heroic but we couldn't talk anyone else into it. No worries, we would have gone with two but thanks to random matchmaking that is not possible any more. My previous experiences with random matchmaking on the two or three runs I've used it have been fine so I wasn't concerned. So we start Omnigul with no burn (not the quickest strike). Random Guy runs as far into the first room as he can immediately and dies, not even sure if he fired a shot. We clear first couple of waves and my mate revives Random guy. Random Guy charges forward and instantly dies again. So we clear first area and revive Random Guy. Random Guy sprints up the stairs, out if the door and towards the area the next mini boss will eventually spawn ... Dies immediately. We clear the shanks and vandals. My mate needs ammo so runs outside and whilst he is there revives Random Guy. Random Guy charges forward and instantly dies. Mate dies leaving just me alive Let's put this in context. Random Guy was level 32 with full raid armour, Max Gjallahorn, Black Hammer and raid assault rifle. IMHO he just wanted to do nothing but reap the rewards of this increasingly lengthy heroic strike. So I tell my mate I am making a cup of tea. Get safe, sit down and leave for about four minutes. Random Guy remains. Come back, dance, drink tea for another three minutes. Random Guy remains. By this time I am pretty £#@££&% off. I start ranting in my party chat to other clan members. Random guy is gonna wait until we quit, then two other suckers will have to carry him through the rest of the strike. One other member says hey that is terrible, what is this other guys name? I tell him. Two minutes later Random Guy quits and our clan mate who asked his name joins us. Clan mate tells me he sent Random Guy a pm saying he was about to solo Hard Mode Crota and asked if he wanted an easy loot drop. Random Guy joined his fire team. Clan mate leaves and joins us. I almost choked on the last of my tea I laughed so hard. We went off and finished our strike. Hope someone likes this true story.
