we all know that house of wolves comes out May 19th but not all of us know how to level up fast for its release. When HoW releases do these things to get a huge kick start. First you need to get 195 marks in vanguard and 150 marks in crucible the reason why you need this many marks is so that you can buy the armor in the crucible for 150 marks is for gauntlets and leg armor prices combined and then you buy the chest armor and the helmet for 195 vanguard marks and there you go you only need to upgrade your armor now good luck guardians.

How to get a lot of shit quickly in how 1.) get the vanguard/crucible/cryptarch/pvp factions all ready to level up with one bounty/engram. 2.) have 200 crucible/vanguard marks ready to go 3.) have an entire thing of bounties completed on each character ready to turn in and have as many engrams ready to turn in. (I know they are time stamped this is just to power level the cryptarch an extra level) 4.) get as many motes ready for xurs engrams. I plan on getting all the new exotics whenever he sells a different engram. (Pray to god the helmet engram is the first thing he sells)

Why make a rat race out of the game when you can just keep playing and eventually get to the level you want? Is there a competition with a major award waiting for a winner? I do not think so. I just play for fun.
-
Or you can play the content you have allready and asend your current armor to the cap.
-
Got 400 Vanguard marks saved. Got 300 Crucible marks saved. My bounty slots are filled with ten, five-thousand xp bountys that are completed so when dlc drops I will level up my faction getting armor hopefully. And I have 8 old packages saved which will all give me xp for faction when I open them. I have 6 legendary engram saved which will level up cryptarch. I'm ready

I've seen a lot of people talk about getting to level 33/34 day 1, but... Do you really want to be in the same position you're in now? Craving content and not having really anything to do? To each their own but I'm definitely going to be taking it slow this time around.

Ascend your exotics using shards: you'll hit 33 immediately and you'll only need three more light to hit 34. New vendor gear only gets you to 32 and new weapons are 331 until ascended.
-
No, you are completely wrong. They have already shown that armor in the tower will have 36 light per piece - this is the current level of Crota's End gear and will get you to light level 32. You can clearly see this on any of the live streams or gear videos on youtube. The only way to try and level up quickly for House of Wolves will be to do the Nightfalls and Prison of Elders on all three characters. Here's my plan (stacking up all rewards onto one character): 1. Upgrade all Exotics (since I'm currently a level 32 this will get me to 32.5) 2. Do all of the missions on my 1st char (to unlock Nightfall and PoE) 3. Do Nightfall on 1st char (maybe get some Etheric Light and get to level 33) 4. Do PoE level 32 and turn in the Armor Core to Variks (level 33 - 33.5) 5. Do PoE level 34 and save rewards for after step 8 6. Do all of the missions on my 2nd char (to unlock Nightfall and PoE) 7. Do Nightfall on 2nd char (maybe get Etheric Light and get to level 33.5 or 34) 8. Do PoE level 32 on 2nd char and use Armor Core with Weapon Core from step 5 for Judgement's Chance (maybe get another piece of armor - 33.5 - 34) 9. Use Etheric Light from step 5 on a piece of Legendary armor (33.5 - 34) 10. Do PoE level 34 on 2nd char and use Etheric Light (by this time you will definitely have 1 character at level 34) This plan assumes you can pass Armor Cores and Weapon Cores through the Vault between characters.

By the way the new vendor gear is only going to be level 32. (36 light)
-
Etheric light will upgrade pretty much any legendary armour go 34, so just grind the activities that allow that ... I'm pretty surd vendor gear will by default Max at 32 with an upgrade to 34 with etgetic light. The only real difference I think is those under 32 can buy into 32 with out having to xp the armour to that level.
-
Or get as many factions one bounty away from large long up as possible then save a bounty for each one and boom, instant packages
-
Hurry up to get bored already!
-
Yeah you need to ascend it because vendor gear only has 36 light which gets you to 32 and I would rather ascend raid gear than vendor gear.
-
You DO know that the prices for armor went up, right? Chest, arms, and legs are 75 each, not 65.
-
The gear from the vendors only gets you to level 32..,
-
I'm at like 69 crucible marks. What about my postmaster packages. Will they be the new cap if they turn to armor?
