Potential Cabal Raid

NOTE: I understand that Raids are supposed to only focus on one particular race, which this does, but a new Vex sub-faction is somewhat involved. The Last Flayer: Cabal Raid Location: Firebase Sparta, The Stormbreak, Phobos Objective: Eliminate Gaurus, The Last Flayer. Part 1: Players spawn on Phobos, in Wasteland, in The Stormbreak. "Above" them, the Marsian surface sits not too far away. Players head to Firebase Sparta, which was the birthplace of the Psion Flayers. Part 2: Upon reaching the gate, members of a new Cabal Legion ambush the players: the Iron Will. Their armor is all black, giving them a darker, more sinister appearance. As well, they only say "Hail Gaurus," instead of typical battle chatter. Players fight the Cabal, and the gate opens, revealing the first mini-boss: Shal Barra, Gate Protector. He is a Colossus. Players fight him, open the gate, and continue. Part 3: Players are now in Firebase Sparta, and need to go to the Flayer Labs deep underground. Many Cabal squadrons attack, but the players continue through the vast hallways. Soon, they begin going underground, and players stumble upon what look like Vex, trapped in stasis tubes. Then players see an opening they can walk through, but the door closes. Suddenly, the weird Vex things come out of the tubes. These Vex are tan-colored, with black stripes, in patterns similar to that of the Hezen Protective. These "Vex" are called; Gaurus Heditive. They are a mix of Goblins, and Hobgoblins. Their eyes, and their biological cores are a sickly black color. The truth is now plain: the Cabal attempted to make their own Vex. After they are defeated, the door reopens, and players continue to the boss area. Part 4: The room is circular, with a black sphere hanging in the center of the room. A mix of Iron Will Cabal, and Gaurus Heditive Vex appear to be worshipping the sphere. They then notice the players, and attack. Once they are defeated, two Colossi Cabal that were guarding the sphere, "activate," and also attack. These mini-bosses are called; Flayer Guardians. Their names are Val, and Zau'roc. Once they are defeated, the boss fight begins. Part 5/boss fight: Gaurus, The Last The sphere opens, and Gaurus floats out of it, then drops to the ground with a huge shock wave, killing any player standing in the area of the wave. Gaurus begins firing Arc blasts while the players fight him. After being somewhat damaged, Gaurus ascends into the air, and fires a spread-shot, tracking, and hitting all players. This infects players with "Arc Poison." Then, six tubes open up, and players must step inside of them to be "purified" (Vault of Glass much?) As well, ledges form on the walls, and Heditive Hobgoblins spawn. On the ground, Legionnaires and Centurions from the Iron Will also spawn, and attack. While fighting them, Gaurus descends back down with another shock wave. Gaurus then switches to Solar damage-dealing weapons, which appear to be two blades made out of fire. Gaurus now attacks with melee strokes of his blades (notice how his attacks are similar to each Guardian's super attacks.) He ascends again, more reinforcements arrive, including now Vex Minotaurs with the Cabal. Gaurus comes down once more, with another shock wave, but this time generates a type of Void shield. Any player that touches the shield will die (again, VoG much?) Gaurus will start running around, chasing players. After this final attack, Gaurus should be able to be defeated. Raid Weapons Heavy Hitter: Exotic Rocket Launcher (Solar.) Darkness Falling: Legendary Sniper Rifle (Void.) Will of the Legion: Legendary Auto Rifle (Arc.) Heed These Words: Legendary Pulse Rifle (Void.) Ta'auruc Would Be Proud: Legendary Rocket Launcher (Solar.) Waste of the Storm: Legendary Hand Cannon (Arc.) Goblin SG-02: Legendary Scout Rifle (Arc.) Breach and Clear: Legendary Shotgun (Solar.) The Abomination: Legendary Fusion Rifle (Void.) Hellfire: Legendary Machine Gun (Arc.) Raid Armor Titan: Legionary-themed armor. Hunter: Hobgoblin-themed armor (would look similar to Vex armor from VoG, except colored like Gaurus Heditive.) Warlock: Psion-themed armor. NOTE: For the Hunter Armor, the tan would be primary, and black would be secondary. Both of these colors can change with shaders. I sincerely hope you read this, Bungie. This is just a suggestion for a Raid that could exist in Destiny's future.
