How can PvP ever be truly balanced if...

TL;DR at the bottom How can PvP ever be truly balanced if new weapons are added on a regular basis? Seriously, the core mechanics of this game were clearly based on PvE balancing, initially (despite the fact that Bungie seems commited to screwing over PvE players with every update to balancing), so why are people so surprised that the PvP is never fully balanced? If the weapons and armor WERE balanced to the same degree as other competitive shooters, the majority of Destiny's offerings would be ruinously shafted, and most of the "MMO" components that make the game so unique would have to be removed or completely overhauled. Basically, Destiny wouldn't be the same game. Considering that the vast majority of players hardly touch PvP at all, it's annoying how much stock Bungie seems to be putting in the PvP player base. I enjoy Crucible, but if I wanted a truly competitive FPS experience, I wouldn't have invested in Destiny, because it's undeniably intended to be a PvE-centered game. Crucible can never be TRULY balanced in this game, but if the community keeps pushing for "balance" in Crucible, all that's gonna happen is the Cooperative modes will suffer, and PvP will still be flawed. EVERYONE LOSES. TL;DR- Am I the only one who sees this game destroying itself from the inside, due to the attempt to achieve an impossible duality between PvE and PvP? I love Destiny to death, but every time I find my perfect weapon to fight the Darkness, the Crucible crowd comes along and leads to it getting turned into a marshmallow gun. :'( What's the point of "better gear" that isn't allowed to actually BE BETTER??
