Sorry, but it's true. It's not about being a sore loser, it is simply that a loss does not count towards the grimoire. So, for me, it's a waste of time. I will leave any match that seems grim and will only finish those I am winning. Perhaps, if losses still counted for even half credit, people like myself would be more motivated to follow through. Edit: by the way, just to counter the idiots claiming my k/d is such and such. According to DestinyTracker, my average k/d between my 3 characters is 1.01. So, I'm average ;). Let's assume by that, that I win half of the games, and the other half (while focusing on modes I need wins for) I quit. Edit 2: Dear kryptic: you do realize this is a video game right? Lol. Regardless, this being the first game in which I felt forced to play pvp I, for months, couldn't break even in any game. I watched my k/d slowly grow from .2 to .4 to .6.... Once I started breaking even I was amazed! So, due to all the many many losses I once had, for me to not be negative as an average is impressive to me. :) surely many young adults like myself that never got into the CoD scene totally get where I'm coming from. But that's not even what this post is about! It's feedback to BUNGIE concerning a lack of incentive given to complete all matches. Edit: Someone necroed this from a month back. Since then Bungie has mentioned they will be doubling the reputation and Mark gains for all crucible matches, which though it doesn't touch on the Grimoire aspect, it is a HUGE change that is much appreciated.
