Requesting Refund Due to Fraudulent Practices

From the announcement of House of Wolves DLC, I was not informed at the time of my season pass pre-order purchase in February that the Xbox live subscribers will be locked out of some of the DLC content including PvP map Time Keeper in favor of Playstation users. Therefore, I am requesting Bungie to process my house of wolves DLC refund in full no later than 30 days from today or unlock the content that I fully paid for; otherwise a fraudulent or unfair trading practice complaint will be filed to Federal Trade Commission and the matter may be settle in a small claims court. It would be acceptable had I known this fact prior to my purchase. However, it is NOT acceptable that I paid 100% of the DLC price only to receive partial of the complete content. The consumers should have the right to be informed of this information prior to his/her purchase. The consumers should also have the right to partial or full refund should the manufacture decide to change their plan prior to product release date and after the consumers had already paid for through pre-ordering. Thank you

  • Updated: I actually got a refund processed from my card services after calling Microsoft back and link this thread, and they told me this: "you should have a partial refund since the game developer (Bungie) wont allow to access one of the content that's been purchased. Regarding your request for a refund for this transaction, normally the system will allow us to process a refund if the transaction is done within 30 days. The best way to get a refund for this transaction is by contacting wyour bank to dispute or reverse the transaction." So I just sent off the transcript to the card service and they are ok with it. I know it's petty request as it's only $35, but I am honestly tired of these unfair/questionable business practices. I don't need a lawyer to go to small claims court or file a complaint. It's only a couple hundred dollars to sue someone. Also if the plantiff wins, the defendant pays you back the fees. A lot of company I dealt with ended up settling with you out of court anyways, because they don't want to send in their lawyers. If I preorder an apple, I should have an option for refund if they come back 3 months later and tell me I will be only getting half the apple I preordered.
