The many Thorns in my side
So I am getting pretty sick of the exotic hand cannon Thorn now. I love how it looks and I like the whole idea of the gun, sure its cool! but the horrible truth is that when I am getting hit by multiple people I drop like a sack of potatoes. I walk into a fight and get shot once then I have to go hide and that's if its a one on one fight (does not happen often anymore since a lot of people use the gun). I am not asking for the gun to be ripped from the game I'm just suggesting that maybe the gun would be better if the burning effect was a chance instead of every bullet fired. Hawkmoon has the two random bullet chances in a mag, if Thorn had these kind of perks I think people would be able to go into a fight against multiple enemies wielding thorn and it would be more of a fair fight. My opinion of course but tell me what you guys think.

2 RepliesThe thorn is an exotic that drops only from missives, on top of this if you don't cheese it the bounty takes an average of about 9 hours that's if you even have a void weapon!! It's a gun that requires a lot of devotion and time to get and is supposed to be op. Personally I am a huge fan of my thorn not because it's good but because I earned it. Many hours were spent in crucible grinding away for this gun and because of that I never want to see it get nerfed. Any gun you actually have to work for instead of it just dropping is going to be good, that's just the way it is.
