Have you ever helped noobs while on patrol?
I was on my way to the gate lord mission and saw 4 players struggling to form the spire. They were levels 26 to 28 and it looked like they were new at it. I held the right sync plate for them while two held the middle and two held the left. Well after about 15 minutes of them dying, we finally formed it. I waved to them as they entered the vault, and felt good about helping fellow guardians in our fight against the darkness. Then I rode off towards my mission.
[spoiler]I knew they were all dead as soon as they reached the confluxes, but it was still fun helping them.[/spoiler]

I love helping struggling randoms. I always hope it is a domino effect and they help someone who helps someone who helps someone.... Kindness is a disease worth spreading!

3 RepliesHelp them whenever I see them. In fact, not only in patrol, I'm helping a random I met from LFG that has been needing help get 5 Exotic Bounties done. He told me he was terrible in crucible and would never be able to get them complete. I joked around and told him, "if you give me your login and password, I'll complete them for you." We both laughed it off a little... 3 days later I had a message from him with login/password saying he was being deployed back out to sea for 3 weeks and since he wasn't going to be on, he wanted me to do the bounties. I was a little overwhelmed but hey why not. I have completed 3 of the bounties so far getting him Thorn, Bad JuJu, and Invective. Also relieved myself of some of the boredom with crucible by doing the nightfalls, Crota, and VOG. By no means do I think I am good at crucible. I never play it unless its for exotic bounties. Plus I finally got to shoot a Gjallarhorn for the first time. Lol..... : ( ```

The other day I was in patrol in venus & went to the VoG entrance. Saw a bunch of level 26s & 27s so I decided to help out. Took some time but they eventually got it done.

Always. I like running the Vex majors bounty with my warlock at the VoG entrance. I've killed Urzok for other people in Skywatch more times than I can count.

I usually help newbs/afkers by turning on solar wind and pushing them to certain places...

Yep. A few months ago I helped a group that was trying to three-man it without any success, I pitched in and helped because the guy who was trying to hold the front left sync plate just didn't have the firepower to deal with the Praetorians that come at you from both directions. So I stayed until they got the spire to from. They actually wanted me to join their raid, but I didn't have the time to do a raid. Sent them a reply so that they knew that, and wished them a good raid. I'll also help noobs in the Rocketyard. You'll often get level 4s and 5s that go exploring back there, and are just overmatched by the level 8 and 9 monsters. So I'll often give revives, and fire support while they're in my area.

While doing Venus patrols last night a friend and I helped a group raise the spire at the beginning of VoG. They needed it, they sucked.

I usually help out if I see one of my friendlist doing the nightfall alone. It's good glimmer anyway, and making them happy makes me happy. Or if doing NF solo, once im at the boss and almost killed him, I'll invite two lower levels, that I know would not complete it otherwise.

On the moon there was a public event by the hell mouth to kill a witch and 3 level 5's spent like 90% of the event trying to kill her barely knocking her shield down. I fired owl me gjallarhorn rocket and killed her and then they left. So grateful
