Don't make the same mistake with HoW as you did with TDB. [u][b]If[/b][/u]/When you buff the exotics to the new max defence/damage, remember to apply that change to the Raids also. Wether you do the same to the Legendaries too is up to you (I'm hoping yes, if you add in a new difficulty level to the Raids too). I'd rather [u][b]not[/b][/u] have to grind to max out an exotic that ought to have dropped at the stats I would've got if it dropped in the Nightfall or something... Again. [b][u]PLEASE NOTE:[/u][/b] You can [b][u]say[/u][/b] Bungie has already told us the situation regarding current exotics. But if [u][b]you[/b][/u] don't provide a source, I won't accept your claim. I'm hoping Bungie don't forget to apply the [u][b]new[/b][/u] max damage (365) to [u][b]all[/b][/u] exotic drops when HoW releases. Remember I already said [b][u]IF[/u][/b]!!! We know that PoE and ToO gear will drop at 365 damage and allow you to hit level 34 without upgrades. This isn't in question, watch the Reef Twitch Reveal. What about the [u][b]current[/b][/u] exotics? (The Last Word, Universal Remote, No Land Beyond). When they drop after the HoW patch and expansion, what will their stats be? Current max or HoW max? [b][u]YES WE KNOW WE WILL BE ABLE TO ASCEND THEM.[/u][/b] What if those exotics drop in PoE or ToO? Some people may feel a bit shafted if they receive 'old' gear from the new end-game content (People will feel shafted anyway, but you get my point). But then again, it would be a bit crappy to receive a 331 exotic from CE Hard if the same exotic would've dropped at 365 in PoE, or even the Nightfall (as was the case with VoG when TDB dropped). There are arguments for [b][u]and[/u][/b] against Bungie buffing the exotic drops. But nonetheless there is a [u][b]possibility[/b][/u] and we won't know for certain until Bungie announces something, or HoW releases.[/spoiler]
