Should Radiance have a DoT AoE perk?

Please read this post before answering. Personally, I like Radiance but I feel like it lacks luster compared to other supers. That being said, I personally think Radiance should have a perk that helps me share the warmth of the sun with minions of the dark and other guardians. First off, I DON'T think it should be a class perk. I think I should be on an Exotic Piece of Armor. (Preferably a chest piece because the Flame Wings come from your back) And by DoT AoE perk, I'm talking about like taking Burn Damage standing next to a Warlock who is in active Radiance. Kind of like standing next to a HobGoblin who is doing the Immune thing. PvE wise, I would hurt anything that surrounded you enough that you could easily one shot, or melee them and conserve ammo. I feel it would also encourage more Warlocks to use their Radiance more in RoC strikes and other activities that really don't call for Self-Res. PvP wise, I think it would defiantly be worth the exotic slot for Warlocks who find them selves melee'd or shotgunned a lot. This perk would help more in CQC areas but fall flat in areas that are more wide open. People would eventually adapt however and learn to keep their distance. The AoE would NOT be big at all. For this effect you work, I'd suggest either at least standing next to Warlock, but at MAX the spand of the flaming wings. For the Exotic piece, I think it should be a chest piece that's white with a Golden Sun on the back. Or have a hobgoblin look to it. Would love to hear your thoughts on this! Edit: While I thought that this would be helpful, I forgot to take into many of the other perks Radiance had to offer. DoT would just be too OP. NobodyJustBrad put it well by saying:
So, you're just wanting a completely OP class, then. You want your one-hit melees, unlimited grenades with Gift of the Sun speeding that up because it allows the charge overlap, AND an AoE ignite attack AND self-res... That doesn't sound like too much to you? Helm of Inmost Light doesn't actually add damage potential. It only modifies movement ability. (Diving instead of lunging and a jump when FoH activated while running)
