I understand that Destiny is sticking to an MMO feel, especially with the damage types (fire:solar, lightning:arc, etc). So my first question is; does it have any effect in PvP? For example, would a solar type do continual damage to a player (simulating being in fire)? Second, do subclasses have any effect on shields in PvE? Ex. using golden gun on an enemy with a solar shield will do more damage than an enemy with a void or arc shield. Thoughts? Answers? Tell me what you think!
