Episode 2: Assistance
Moluk was in the middle of feeding Nycor when the emissary showed up. The hooded figure standing in the shadows.
"You promised me beings of light for my experiments, not these Fallen and their sad excuse for a replacement source..." she hissed.
"Then you will be pleased with my news, the Speaker is sending guardians after you," the emissary stood rigid, as if unwilling to show any form of emotion less it divulge his identity. "They will fufill your thirst for light"
"And in return for me killing them?" Moluk hissed again, impatient with the emissary.
"We need you too continue causing havoc in the cosmodrome for now, we don't have any other need of your services"
Moluk shrugged, and turned back to her work, glimpsing out of the corner of her eye as the emissary left, the symbol on his cloak, a skeletal beast atop an inverted triangle of orange.

Toland stared as the dropship descended from the sky, waiting to deliver it's passenger.
Dredgen and Kabr walked up behind him. "Is that him?" Kabr asked. Toland nodded, not breaking eye contact.
Cayde-6, the Hunter Vanguard, looked happy to be back out in the field, yet nervously looked around as if he was breaking some law.
Toland walked forwards, and handed Cayde a file, which he inserted into a slot in his arm. "Thanks for the Intel, it will take a second to decrypt though."
Toland shrugged. "That's fine, how does it feel being back in the field?" Cayde shook his head.
"I'm not back in the field, I'm at the tower, supposed to be in a meeting with Shaxx about rigged crucible matches" Cayde checked the file, then removed it.
"Alright then, here's the deal. Your Wizard is hiding out in one of the Hive Seeders that invaded Earth, it's heavily guarded and there's also some Fallen forces in the area, it seems impossible to penetrate without reinforcements, I would have to call in a Raid team, not a Strike team"
Dredgen sighed, "And we can't get reinforcements because we don't officially exist..." he turned back to Cayde, "What about you?" he asked. "You're always talking about wanting to get back into the field, but you aren't allowed back, what if you helped us? You're already off the record in this area."
Cayde looked out over the waters, thinking. His hand rested over his holster, from which he longed to release the hand cannon tucked away. He seemed a little uneasy.
"We could really use your help" Kabr interjected. He knew that they couldn't do this without any help, and Cayde seemed to be the only one that was willing to help them.
Cayde's eyes flashed as he unholstered his Hawkmoon and watched it gleam in the setting sun.
"What the hell, I'm already out here! Might as well get some fresh air." He smiled as he reholstered his gun.

Bump. And it just got better. Cayde is by far one of my favorite characters in the game. I love how he is also using my favorite weapon.

Another excellent read. Keep up the good work.
...with Shaxx about rigged crucible matches" he checked the file, then removed it.
Missing punctuation. This could be rewritten as: "...with Shaxx about rigged crucible matches." Cayde checked the file, then removed it.
"We could really appreciate your help" Kabr interjected.
Could also be rewritten as: "We could really use your help, Cayde," Kabr interjected. Using appreciate in the above sentence doesn't make sense. Remember, when ending or beginning dialogue with he said, she said, etc... You are always going to use a comma. Kabr had given up hope until he finally turned to Cayde and said, "We really need your help." The desperation in Kabr's eyes told Cayde all he needed to know. "Fine. I'll do it," Cayde said as he removed the Hawkmoon from its holster. Also, you capitalized Hand Cannon when it should have been lower case since it is not a proper noun. Hawkmoon on the other hand, is a proper noun, so good job capitalizing it.
"What the hell, i'm already out here!" he smiled as he reholstered his gun. "Might as well get some kills in, get some practice."
You have Cayde saying the same thing twice, another way to have this flow a little bit better: "What the Hell? I'm already out here, so, I might as well kill something and get some practice in." Cayde's metal smile widened as he reholstered his Hawkmoon. Just a few things I saw, but you're doing well. Keep up the good work!

loving this, wish posts could be more consistent but what the hell

I'm hooked! Been waiting since the last one and this looks great, too. A couple grammatical errors here and there, but who's counting? Nice work.
-
Great job BTW "your wizard" not "you're"
-
Great! Just one mistake. I think you meant "divulge" his identity, not "diverge." A quick edit should fix that. Bump! :)
