The Felwinter's Lie is a high impact/range, low RoF/reload/stability shotgun. Found Verdict (another popular shotgun from VoG) has a higher RoF(w/full-auto), decent impact, high range, better stability, faster reload, with a slightly lower range and impact being the only real negative differences when compared to Felwinter's Lie, yet people seem to hate Felwinter's Lie a whole lot more than Found Verdict. Most request a substantial nerf to Felwinter's Lie's range, even though its almost got the same base range as Found Verdict and a few other shotguns in the game. Why not take a look the perks available to the gun instead of the gun itself. Why not restrict range-based perks to other lower ranged shotguns? (Just a suggestion which might make Felwinter's Lie less 'OP' in some people minds.) If people keep calling for a nerf on Felwinter's Lie they will get [i]exactly[/i] what they ask for eventually. It will be nerved to the ground like the auto rifles and will basically become unusable , like a worse Fourth Horseman before its recent stat change. Then everyone will go straight back to Found Verdict and that will get nerfed to the ground after people start to constantly complain about how 'over powered' it is, when it is not. Most people aren't crying these weapons power, they are angered by the number of people who use them, which makes them think the weapon is OP. The community has realised that they have some power over how Bungie changes the game, and parts of the community are exploiting that power to get everything they want in Destiny as they see it, without thinking of how it will affect the game in the future for everyone else. A few months ago some people we wanting auto rifles nerfed because they were overused in PvP. They got that nerf and now nobody uses them anymore. Now these people have latched onto hand cannons (Thorn/TLW) and shotguns (FL). The Destiny community is awesome, but nerf-criers are the people getting these weapons made redundant! [i][b]Stop crying for weapon/armour nerfs and start requesting new, interesting content and mechanics the game actually needs![/b][/i] We are falling into a never ending spiral of "nerf this" and "buff that" and "nerf this again", which disappoints me a little bit. [u][i]I do not believe Felwinter's Lie, [b]the gun[/b], deserves to be nerfed.
