Does anyone else get embarrassed when you die in strikes? Like, "I swear I'm better than this!"

Edited by rekingwar: 4/26/2015 8:58:41 PMI don't always die, but when I do I have the "Walking Tall" bounty.

Edited by Yahini: 4/26/2015 8:03:47 PMLol! When its not raids or nightfall, I play so reckless. I see a group of enemies I'm charging them or if someone dies in the mist of a swarm I'm diving in for the revive! ROC strikes with Omnigul I'm chilling on the platform with her! Yolo!
-
No not really.

Edited by Zoop: 4/26/2015 8:57:53 PMIve come to really love the 4th horseman, i practically main it on roc strikes. I use it on bosses too, like phogoth, valus or sekrion. So what i die a lot, its sooo much fun (and im getting better at it, lol)
-
Especially on Devils lair level 8 and I throw a trip mine and I get killed by it.... -_-
-
I went full retard.
-
So much

Edited by kylie1caitlin: 4/26/2015 5:43:44 PMI can guarantee that I will die if I'm holding the no death strike bounty, it's a given

Edited by PhraustStryke: 4/26/2015 5:52:22 PMI don't always die in a nightfall, but when I do...
I was killed by the architects.
i dont play cautious when doing strikes. I'm just in for the kills :D but I end up having at least double the kills than my fellow two guardians
-
Especially when it's to shanks.
-
Die more better rewards :D
-
I go super aggressive in strikes. Most of the time when I die, I get like 100+ kills while everyone else gets like a 1000 assists
-
If I'm the first one to die, then yea, its embarrassing. Once someone else dies, yay all eyes are off me :-P But if I die and no one else kicks the bucket, and we finish the strike... Well instead of going to orbit I just immediately turn off the Xbox and pretend Destiny does not exist for a couple minutes ;)
-
I would much rather they die trying to kill ish, than hide like coward the whole strike
-
Nope I play really brash and agressive during strikes so I cause myself to be reckless but it's fun I get more kills then the other guys and most of the time better rewards
-
nah, I play very aggressive in strikes since I over power most of them anyways. I don't feel that embarrassed when I die unless it's at the end of a strike because then I feel like i'm not helping if i'm dead and that boss beats the shiz out of the fireteam. strikes aren't all that big of a deal for people to worry about dying, raids is where i'd want to limit the dying lol. never die when Crota or Atheon is literally one shot lol.
-
Yep - got invited to a nightfall this week and merrily strolled into a hobgoblin snipe. V embarrassed Hobgoblins. Pricks.
-
I get embarrassed, but nothing better than shotgunning bosses in their face, totally worth it
-
Yeah I feel bad. I usually apologize lol. ROC strikes only of course.
-
Yeah I feel you. I get way too aggressive sometimes and it ends up getting me killed. Soooo embarrassing lol
-
Absolutely. I can stay alive through most of a raid, but die in a ROC strike. Hahah embarrassing indeed.
-
I was sure I'd die last time on Phogoth, Ward of Dawn between his legs, jump up punches to the nuts, but surprisingly nooo he got nut punched to death haha
-
I die quite regularly. Strikes, raids, missions. Patrols even. Seems like I'm a natural at it. Not embarassed though, when you finally find your one true talent, you embrace and develop it. For example: in pvp I'm the bait, shrieker hallway on ce, I take down both shriekers then die (sometimes I'm just too good at dying and I can only take down the first one, the list goes on like this...) Conclusion: if you die a lot, don't be embarassed about it, instead embrace and treasure it. Some people live their entire life without ever finding out what they are truly capable of.

I once ran the basic level summoning pits as a 31 , forgot I was on my titan and not warlock, jumped and zoomed clear off the end of the map lol Didn't even want to respawn!
