Chests that appear on the planets are currently underutilised by the community and have little reward?! There was a time we would farm them for materials but since Vanguard marks can be traded this for me and my mates has substantially subsided and altogether stopped in most cases. I suggest we look at the rewards they contain and make a suggestion to how they could once again become relevant. I've only ever got epic shards once from all of my chest farming at release, so the actual rewards are extremely tight as I did hundreds of chest runs. Bigger glimmer rewards and a minium of 5 materials per chest with an increased chance of shards and a slight chance at legendary weapons and a miniscule chance at an exotic weapon are my suggestions. Oh and perhaps less chests spawn but are more rewarding?!
