RNG Theory

Ok, I was doing hard Crota with a group of 5 friends, and one of them decides "Lemme invite this guy, he doesn't get to play much since he doesn't have any good weapons." So this guy joins and we do Crota. He gets a Gjallahorn. That's not the worst part. He also got a Crux. He is level 30 and doesn't have many exotics, which makes me think back on times I've seen people get Gjallahorn in raids. It seems to me that there is a higher chance for exotics the less you play. I know this sounds crazy, but lemme explain. What the RNG could do is for the players who are hooked on the game (like me) who do both Raids 3 times, 3 Nightfalls, is give them lesser rewards since it "knows" you will play the game regardless of what you get (thus you are hooked in, or addicted). For the lower levels it will reward an exotic that is very powerful in an attempt to hook you in, so you will be playing more, since Destiny is such a grind heavy game, which increase profit on Bungie, and Activision sides since you will be more obligated to buy DLC if you have better weapons in game and play more.

  • My theory suggests that we must do certain things...fins certain ghosts, gold chests, participate in world events and one battle SIM in particular. Equipping one item in particular really seems to help. Jade Rabbit. Wear it. Then please come back and star this, after. And let others know. All I ask is that u spread the GHORN love. This works. I swear it does. Nearly every first time ghorn drop, its always going to the jade rabbit. Coincidence? I think not...
