Blades not showing up
Is anyone else having trouble finding blades of crota on earth and moon? the only way i can do it is the story mission. The blades used to pop up and now they havent since the update. just seeing if its just me or everyone

2 RepliesThe Blades of Crota are no longer available unless you buy the "Dark Below" expansion pack. Eris Morn is still giving out the bounty if you dont have the expansion pack but you cant do it without the expansion... hmmm... I have also noticed that the "Pack of Wolves" keeps showing up in the middle of areas on earth that i am trying to run normal missions but without the "House of Wolves" expansion pack, I have no hope of defeating them even though i am level 26. So Bungie is forcing us to buy these expansions of possibly not be able to finish normal missions from the original game disc that we paid $50 for. Guess i should just shut up, pay the $20 for Dark Below and another $20 for house of wolves and then whatever the cost is going to be for the taken king because im sure they are going to do the same thing there as well. Wow... a $50 game just became a $100+ game and i still only have 1 disc. Lmao... greedy much?

1 ReplyI have both expansions and I'm sad to say I haven't seen the Swords of Crota show up in months.... it's very saddening because now it feels like I'm stuck waiting on patrols for anything to happen.... it's making it boring for Pve players

I just think that they should bring all the random hype events back. They made the world seem more lively and would give people more to do between hunts.

Doing the 1st dark below mission is more convenient, easier, quicker, and just overall better for killing blades.

So they cut their own PvE again but hey IB is comming and HoW too. Not that i miss farming patrols earth and moon too much but they could have just peppered swords of crota everywhere randomly instead of brushing them under the rug. By the way anyone got Hide and seek shotgun? I think "Back to Sender" is broken too. On the other Hand i couldnt remember invective ever before worked the way it does now . Generating Shells into the reserve and being able to be loaded with picked up ammo.

You can still farm them on the fist of crota mission, this has always been the most efficient way to farm then anyway. You can kill one ever 2 minutes this way. Bungie did not intended form then to go away just yet. It was part of the unexpected issues with the last update which also included the change to the winters strike run that they did not intended to go public. They admitted to working on the winters run strike, but they decided not to take that public. The also said that the changes to public events were not intentional either - aka the mini public event blades of crota. However these items slipped by.

I haven't seen blades either. I sat in Cosmodrome for almost two hours by the fallen walker event location and didn't see a single blade of crota. Very disappointing. If it wasn't meant to happen that way, Eris wouldn't continue to post bounties.
