Is this community a joke?
I've been reading up on forums checking people's stats that decide to make what we as a community believe is a "LOL" post/topic of discussion, and I must say we got a bunch of retards trolling amongst us, I mean really? Nothing better to do guys...
Why are people still requesting guns should be nerf'd?

I'm sorry but bungie has done a good job with changes to weapon balancing so far personally cannot comment on the recent change on ARs due to the fact I haven't used them in a very long time but even so if you are still requesting a nerf well believe me when I say find a new game or stick to the PvE aspect of this game clearly the crucible and its glory is just not meant for you.
I personally do think having multiple changes to weapon balancing is a joke in itself, but that is very biased of me to say this is a different approach to online gaming via console so these changes is very much expected we will just have to wait and see how many times will ARs alongside other class weapons will be altered in stats.

1 ReplyMy question is what happened to gamers? What happened to our ability to adapt? I used to run PvP AR/Fusion/LMG but switched because of various changes to Pulse/Shotgun/Rocket. Don't complain, adapt. Pulse was my least favorite, but the buff made it a monster I couldn't ignore. TLW or Thorn too strong? Then use it. Either everyone will use these "OP" guns and it'll force a Bungie nerf or you'll realize that they're optimized for a certain style of fighting and skill set, that can be defeated when countered correctly.

1 ReplyPersonally I think bungie will eventually run stats and see which weapons are being used far more than others, and tweak stats to balance it out. Like they did when they ruined AR and made pulse the king. Currently pulse rifles and hand cannons are ruling crucible. I feel eventually they will bring up AR again somewhat, bring hand cannons down a bit at least for range, and make scout rifles do closer to 2/3 of hand cannon damage per shot, instead of the 1/2 it currently is. If they combine weapon changes with some larger pvp maps that give less advantage to hand cannon and shotguns, crucible will be more equal.

1 ReplyIt really depends. Because this game was able to appeal to gamers from various gaming backgrounds, we all react to the format differently. Someone who is drawn to the RPG or MMORPG related qualities of Destiny is probably relatively satisfied. Those of us who come from more competative gaming have a hard time taking the crucible seriously.

8 RepliesThorn deserves a massive range nerf, being able to 2 shot kill anybody at sniper rifle range is ridiculous. Felwinter's Lie is literally a sniper rifle that shoots like a shotgun. You will never be able to tell me that it doesn't deserve nerfs. Last Word is fine, Christmas noobs are to blame for that one. Gjallarhorn is fine, Christmas noobs are also to blame for that one, complaining about how broken the gun is because they don't have it, for some reason. I am willing to contest that having 3 rockets worth of damage in 1 rocket is a lot, but it's fine because Gjallarhorn is literally THE rocket launcher. Bungie has done a relatively good job with weapon balance for all aspects of the game (aside from the Vex Mythoclast nerfs and the PVE auto rifle nerfs), more notably the shotgun PVE buff which was amazing. Bungie is doing the best they can, they're learning as they go, which is fine.

Considering the developers (Bungie) made a joke of a game that they claimed to be a triple A title. The community has become a circus.

I'm not an avid player of crucible, but use these guns, the last word definately does not need a nerf at all, have these people ever used this gun!!??? The thorn doesn't need to either, I've had a player chase me hitting me with this thing and to be honest if they even get two full blown shots, your either shit, or just plain starring at the scenery! Full -blam!-ing stop

1 ReplyFor the most part, they've done an awesome job lately of balancing weapons. TLW and maybe Thorn need a nerf. I say maybe to Thorn because I've wrecked people using it with my Vanquisher VIII. TLW is bugged, which definitely needs a fix. I don't know if that's why it seems so overpowered, but the impact needs a slight reduction IMO.

8 RepliesI must admit the feedback forum is just horrible for the most part. I've tried to put up a thread suggesting a change of the way faction vendors only accept crucible marks. Yet it just gets thrown to the bottom because people would prefer to constantly go on about the same thing time and time again. It's rather annoying.
