Do not store faction packages!
I keep seeing people posting if they should store these packages for the house of wolves. This won't work. The packages and engrams are preprogrammed. You'll get the dark below legendary.
Here's what to do: level up each faction until it's about 10-20 away from rank. Once house of wolves drops hit patrol and level them up. Save your bounties for weapons and armor. Better yet, use your commendations to increase your rep.
For those that haven't heard, commendations will cease to drop once house of wolves drops. You no longer need commendations to purchase weapon and armor. You can use your remaining commendations to rank up your rep.
Make sure you have close to max glimmer. You will definitely need it.

We aren't trying to get HoW gear by saving packages... I currently have 65 postmaster packages of all random factions and cryptarch. If I had opening them all then I would have wasted the exp each packages gives me and I would have dismantled everything... Out of those 65 packages, 40 are cryptarch.. So basically I'm using these packages as a vault for all those engrams.. Considering I have 49 legendary engrams in my vault and on my characters, I wouldn't have room for them. Plus all 5 factions are under 50 exp til next level. With those packages in the postmaster and the packages I'll receive after I level those 5 factions (3 characters) plus all the commendations... I'll have AT LEAST 30 new packages of HoW gear

3 RepliesPackages aren't pre-determined, once you open it up you're presented with a new roll. If you wait till HOW drops, you should have a chance at getting new gear. Engrams on the other hand are pre-determined, so you'll be stuck with dark below rolls

1 ReplyMaybe read the post again! The people stock stuff in order to level faction/crip etc. Faster and get new package with howl stuff
