And I guess I'm the only one not happy about that.
They said they'll change it each week so it's different. Mkay..
What about giving us something to do during the week that gives us continual rewards..?
A few friends and I were hoping it would be a horde/boss/murder ring where we could complete it a few times a week for something to replace Strikes... Now They say weekly.. >.<
EDIT- I'm done replying to negative repeat comments.
I also hope that I'm wrong and that it will be a once a week big reward but with rep gain or tokens or something like that..
-
Did anyone expect anything else? If it's replacing a raid for end game content, of course the loot is on a weekly lockout...
-
Anyone know if it will be like iron banner amd you have a week to grind up and buy stuff then the next week the inventory changes and you have to grind all over again?
-
All they are going to do is put a burn on it......
-
Could u imagine doing all of this stuff back when we had 5 bounties slots impossible
-
Duh. What'd you think free exotic chests all day every day forever? They also say a limited number of times each week. Doesn't seem to imply one time.
-
You know by "changing every week" they mean nightfall mods.

Edited by GeneralPoe: 4/23/2015 3:09:27 PMHmm so that means on reset each week you now have: VoG Run Crota Run The Nightfall Strange Coins run Prison of Elders Then on the weekend you have Trials of Osiris - Game just keeps adding more and more and you complain more and more. Here's the answer to your problem. ......... Get a Life outside of a Game
-
You're done replying to negative comments to a negative bitchy post. Got ya

We still have a month before it's even out to speculate. In two weeks they are doing another stream where the Prison of Elders will be fully explained. From what I understand of it now, you will be able to complete it once a week on each difficulty on each toon for rewards (just like raids are now). You can do it as much as you want for fun or practice, but you'll only get rewards once. I also understand that you can get gear directly as a drop from PoE, but you will also earn rep and tokens for the House of Judgement that will allow you to buy gear as well.
-
What I understand is that PoE will be different every time you run it and will have weekly challenges that will reward you an armor token and a weapon token that you buy rewards with. I assume it is an infinite mode and you can challenge your team to see how far you can get in it. Also I believe I read you get a rep from killing stuff in there. I think its for the fallen guy with fallen shaders. The game doesn't have to reward you for everything you do. If PoE allows you to have non-repetitive fun with your friends whenever isn't that good?
-
They said on the stream that there is no weekly lockout, so you can play whenever you want.
-
I'm fine with weekly lockouts but; I would love if all of these events gave a couple engrams and even just a little bit of rep/experience. That would make it actually worth your while when you help someone. Take VOG for example. At every reward checkpoint you get one blue engram. And at Atheon you get an engram and some rep for your faction. Also those engrams could have a chance to be legendary just like in Roc Strikes. Yes I realize people would just farm the abyss for blue engrams but I would say the strike playlists would still give you more per hour.
-
What the.... I mean why.... but they actually tried to.... why can't you be..... I just don't know what to say about this post. *Facepalm*
-
that's 18 events per week with three characters VoG x3 CE x3 Weekly Heroic x3 Nightfall x3 ToO x3 PoE x3 Not to mention Dailys x 21 and bounties. I may have to quit my day job.
-
Well if you do it on all three characters on top of all the current events you can do on all three characters.... I mean damn. Plus there's "Hundreds of new weapons/armour" that are obtainable from all the new events/modes coming in House of Wolves.

Ya doof Prison of Elders has been confirmed to be a replayable gamemode (means every time you play it you will get rewards regardless of weekly reset)
-
This game is going to get bad real fast

I so hate weekly lockouts. I realize its because there are people who would run it 300 times week 1 and then complain they were burnt out and there was nothing to do or chase. And I don't even want to grind it endlessly like that. I just hate being limited to 1 of this and 1 of that. Makes it feel like I'm only doing it for the loot (which is a large part of it sure, it *is* a loot based game) but it really emphasizes that aspect of it. Kind of makes some stuff feel like a chore, oh instead of doing my fav activity a few more times I need to take time to go grind a different activity for the resources I need Again, I realize why they have those limits in place, I'm just not one of the people that make that necessary.
-
If you want a daily prize go get a happy meal at McDonald's
-
Oh so its like every activity in the game. Whats the issue again?
-
There's more to playing video games than rewards. Like, you know, the fun of playing.
-
Isn't that the same thing with Raids? You can only do them once before the weekly reset. Then you can do them again. I'm guessing they made it like that so that no one gets all the weapons and gear in one week. I'm just saying, the raid resets so it only makes sense the prison of elders does.
-
If it's fun you can play it over again. You just won't receive rewards
-
Just because it's weekly doesn't mean you can't play it again for fun. Did we get anything for hoard modes in other games? No. We played them for fun with friends.
-
The thing is if 3 char. Then you get prob 15 plus loot chances and if your on luck spree then you will be unbalanced
