The Exile, Osiris, Kabr the Legionless and the Exo Stranger

As a disclaimer, this post is pure guesswork and speculation. What is depicted here is, by no means, the factual truth. Now that's out of the way, let's move onto the main point of this post: The Exile, Osiris, and his connection to the Exo Stranger. There is a lot of mystery surrounding both the Stranger and Osiris, however, one thing can be assumed quite safely: The two know each other. In fact, I believe that Osiris is the reason that the Stranger came to the current time period to find your Guardian. My reason behind this belief is quite simple, yet also so damn obvious: Look at the Stranger's Rifle. It looks an awful lot like Osiris' Fate of All Fools, doesn't it? Why also, does it seem to occasionally sparkle with Light at the muzzle? "Ghost's analysis suggests that this weapon has been exposed to incredible forces... and that parts of it shouldn't yet exist." Intrigued? Allow me to sum up what I believe to be a blurred chain of events leading to Osiris and the Stranger's meeting. Osiris was one of the most powerful Warlocks in Destiny's history. He was also revered as a genius and wise Guardian, before his exile. "Rumor has it that the Exile Osiris came TOO close to understanding the Vex" Osiris, like many Warlocks, was a scholar, and sought knowledge that others thought impossible, such as the existence of the Shrines of Oryx and the secrets of the Vex. After hearing of what became of Kabr, Osiris began to wonder why Kabr and Pahanin Errata went in without any additional forces. Then, it dawned on him: They hadn't. Somehow, the rest of their team simply could not be remembered. Somehow, the Vex had the ability to erase people from the very plane of existence. Osiris became intrigued... too intrigued. He had heard the stories from Pahanin about Kabr, who had donned pieces of the Vex to gain their otherworldly power. He, like Kabr, took pieces of the Vex and fashioned them into armor, then analyzed the effects of the armor on his own body. "Capable gauntlets. Extremely effective; I have only one piece of advice: never touch a living Vex!" "Slept in the armor last night, woke to my heart stuttering to the pattern of an unknown signal." Osiris' newfound obsession with the Vex began to make the Vanguard wary. So, like Toland the Shattered, Osiris was exiled from the City. Still, he continued his research. Osiris continued to learn more about the Vex, the Vault of Glass, and of Kabr's very fate, of being lost in time. He surmised that Kabr could only be remembered because he hadn't actually been killed, however, he also could not escape. Kabr was trapped within the Timestream of the Vault. Little by little, Osiris learned more from the Vex's armor and abilities. Over time, he eventually felt so empowered by his knowledge, that he named himself a Hezen Lord, to signify that he thought himself to be above the Vex, even above their highest of Axis Minds. However, one final secret was within his grasp: The Vex's ability to warp across space and time instantaneously, and with that, the secret to the Vex's ultimate goal. "Ghost's analysis suggests that this weapon has been exposed to incredible forces..." With this in mind, Osiris set out to find Kabr, and free him from the Vault. Be it by luck, his own skill, or his sheer power, Osiris fought through the Vault and eventually found his way to Atheon, the Vex's most precious secret. Atheon, knowing full-well how much of a threat Osiris had become, due to his knowledge of the Vex's secrets, and their ultimate goal, sent him into the Timestream as well, alongside Kabr. Osiris met Kabr within the Timestream, and offered him a way out, using Osiris' experimental Teleportation ability. Kabr, however, declined Osiris' invitation, stating that eventually, more Guardians would come to look for them, and that he must give them a fighting chance at survival. So instead, Osiris taught Kabr the Teleportation ability, so that Kabr could use it to send the Aegis shield to Guardians in their time of need. However, he cautioned Kabr that overuse of the Teleportation would greatly exhaust his Light, so the shield would not be able to stay outside of the Timestream for long. With this, Osiris attempted to free himself from the Timestream, by teleporting out of the rapid current. Osiris' teleportation came at a severe cost. His armor was stripped from his body, and his weapon all but destroyed. He had landed himself in an unfamiliar time period, barely alive. By some chance, the Stranger and her group came across the barely-living Warlock, sensed his Light, and sought to hide him until he could recover. They were from a time period where all light had been extinguished, so they knew that a living Guardian might be their only hope of escaping extinction. As Osiris awoke, the two exchanged words. Osiris was told of the situation that the futuristic time period was facing, and how there was no longer any Light left -except for his. Osiris knew there would be only one way to stop this future: to bring back the Guardians of old, the ones who had been stronger than the rest, such as he and Kabr. Osiris knew of your Guardian from the battle of the Twilight Gap, having not only helped to push back the Fallen, but the Guardian had even pursued the army as they retreated. Although your Guardian had fought hard against the insurmountable odds, they had eventually perished. The victory your Guardian had won that day had sown fear into the Fallen, and caused them to fear ever going back to the Walls again, without much better planning and strength. Through the Guardian's actions, the City would know safety for a while, as the Fallen planned in fear, watching the corners for the nightmare which had hunted so many of them down. Osiris knew there was still a chance for your Guardian's powerful Light to be rekindled, however, the Ghosts would have to know where to look. Osiris told the Stranger of his plan to revive the Guardians of Old, so that they may help to ensure that this "future" would never have to happen. He gave the Stranger instructions to find the location of your Guardian's corpse, then to lure a Ghost to the site, so that they may discover and revive the slain hero. The Stranger, however, had no Light, and could not fight back against the darkness, should it find her in the "past." So, he instructed her to take his weapon. "... And that parts of it shouldn't yet exist." The Stranger took Osiris' weapon and repaired the damaged parts, using parts from their own time. Then, Osiris gave her a way to fight back against the darkness: By infusing his own Light into the weapon. He may have also done the same to whatever weapons the remaining members of the Stranger's group had, so that they may protect themselves. With the weapon in hand to defend herself, the Stranger set off to find your Guardian. "Who are you?" "And why are you helping us?" "I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain." Thoughts on this, Guardians? Hope you enjoyed reading :) Edit: Thanks and credit to my wife and fellow Guardian, EvilWife720 for working alongside me to piece this together.
