What should I be saving up for?

I've recently decided to expand my gaming options and buy another gaming system besides my Xbox One sometime in the future by saving up my money. However, I'm unsure which system I should purchase as each have favorable qualities. Here are the Pros and Cons for each system IMO. Please take into account that I am 17 and currently unemployed. PS4 Pros '-I REALLY want to play Bloodborne and I have a a couple of friends who play on PS4. Cons -None of the other PS4 exclusives have caught my eye so Bloodborne would basically be the only game I would buy so far. WiiU Pros -Xenoblade Chronicles X is a must play for me alongside Bayonetta 2, SSB4 WiiU, and the New Zelda. Plus, It would allow for more family game sessions. Cons -setup would be a hassle as my main TV lacks an HDMI port. I also wouldn't have any real Online options to play with my friends. PC Pros -lots of games to choose from as well as lower prices and potentially higher quality and more options such as mods and controller support. My Old PC was terrible and died about 3 months ago Cons -SETUP. I have literally no idea how to build a PC or even how a Computer works. Not to mention researching parts and clearing out my old PC. It would also cost a bit more, take longer to install, and I would have to pay for all of the non-gaming bits. (The Adobe Suite, Microsoft office/spreadsheet etc.) and potentially buy a new computer desk. There also aren't any particular PC games that stand out to me like Bloodborne or the Nintendo games do so I lack substantial incentive. These are just my observations so feel free to point me out of I said something incorrect or if anything else could serve as incentive to choose a particular option. I appreciate the feedback!

  • your unemployed... don't buy anything... But srsly get a PC, i'd look to that FIRST before i ever buying a console, you don't have to build it yourself just get a shop to do it / import all the parts for you. PC can do alot of things other than play games.. especialy for the unemployed. It can.. help you find a job. Help you find a gf. All the internet is easily accesible, you can turn it INTO your job! Marketing/Advertising/Programming/Design/Media, all these option are now open to you! Ontop of that it can play games very well, games you'd never thought you'd like! Maybe your niche is there, you like technology? get involved in technology, you like games? All games come from PC.. yes even super mario bros... Get a PC first before you start venturing out, you might find your niche in WiiU or mobile games, atleast you've got the HUB from where it all spawned and if you don't like.. you play your console.. just enjoy all the free movies/music and games you've got on the download while your AFK

Ps4 - yes, Bloodborne, the last of us, Kingdom Hearts 3, Infamous Second Son, and Uncharted 4 FTW. BTW I'm not one of those Playstation fanboys. Pc - probably not, they tend to brainwash people into their little "pc master race" Hitler-like cult. Don't trust them, but that's just my take on it. WiiU - Possibly, but the only good game on it right now is Bayonetta 2.

I have all 3 (excluding a X1). I would recommend the PS4. I have friends that I play with constantly but as I am the only one with a gaming PC and only one of my friends has a Wii U I play my PS4 a lot more. Bloodborne is very good and I would also recommend Infamous Second Son and The Last of Us as those are currently the 3 best PS exclusives IMO.
Also, building a PC isn't too hard if you have instructions on how to do it. There are plenty of videos on youtube with builds people make but if you have no knowledge or a building budget I would go with the PS4.
• Well if you buy a good pc, you're basically ruling the XB1/PS4 obsolete except for the occasional exclusives. A PC outperforms both but i see how people still prefer consoles as i do myself. A Wii U is a good system to play with family and friends but isnt something i suggest if you like multiplayer or playing alone. To me it ultimately comes down to exclusives, which is all a matter of opinion.
