Finally after 24 ranks with New Monarchy. 22 packages with nothing but Motes of lights, shards, energy, and weapons with useless rolls. I have obtained the factions jumpship. Just wanted to give hope to the community that even though the RNG is a fickle bitch, patience will prevail. For those with even higher ranks than I, keep pushing. Honestly opened the rank 25 package with my "who cares, more useless crap" attitude and then BAM! It was a pleasant surprise. And then it hit me. I've been spending so much time stressing for RNG luck and holding resent for other players luck that I'm missing out on the game itself. I've learned if you stop making this game a "job" and just enjoy it, your anger towards a lot of the flaws of this game simmer. Don't get me wrong this game is super frustrating at times, still no GHorn for this guardian (Raid buddy got his 5th this week) but the moment you stop expecting/hoping for good drops and just go with the flow, you find yourself enjoying a lot more about this game. Now if you will excuse me I'm gonna a cruise by the tower and try to pick up some female guardians in my new space Ferrari. Edit: To those who have obtained shader/ship congrats!
