Advice needed for soloing Crota
Hi all!
Hope y'all having a good one!
I managed to solo Crota as a Sun Bro Warlock the other day, but I am seeking advice to double down him per sword.
I know the video attached is not the best, there are far better players then I on YouTube. This isn't about that.
I seem to run out of time when attempting to double down him per sword. The best I've managed is 4 hits total as opposed to 3 hits per down as seen in video.
Saying that, I've not managed a kill with double downing. Does anyone have any advice?

Yeah use 2 rockets to drop him, reload if you have to before running for the sword. Jump to the rock and hold triangle/y instead of tapping it and you will go straight to gally. Hip fire 2 rockets at crota and pick up the sword and go. I slash my way towards him and when 1 lands i star slamming

i run low level (27-30) people through solo pretty often, i was slow before but it pretty much takes practice and timing once youre on the right rock down him and as soon as you shoot your rockets get as high as possible before he starts to go down, then do an air swing towards him and you should be able to get 3 hits on that down, then air swing back to the rock and repeat..... just takes practice..... im currently practicing killing in one sword solo, only done it 3 times so far

2 RepliesSave your rockets and stand on the rock when the sword bearer comes out and throw a fusion grenade and blast away with your sword breaker shotgun so you can save your Gally rockets. Then drop sword 2- rocks slam and go back reload and repeat. Once you get the timing you will be set.cheers
