That awkward moment when...
share your awkward destiny moments. Last night I was playing this nightfall with some people from forums. I was talking about Randal the vandal and they didn't know who he was. I quit the nightfall and cried myself to sleep that night.
Edit 1: it is not allowing Microsoft users to sign in through the app so I haven't been able to respond to you guys and gals :(. I'm sorry for the inconvenience

4 RepliesThat awkward moment when you're learning to run sword on crota, it took too long for your team to down crota the second time, you mash the right trigger for that 3rd slam, sword disappears and you fire your Gjallarhorn at Crota's leg and everyone asks what happened?? And you can't stop laughing :)

That awkward moment when I was in charge of putting the titan bubble up by crota for the sword bearer to sit in and I forgot I still had foh selected and slammed crota only to die a sec later. Only thing I could say was, "yup, that just happened."

When I was doing a vog with some friends an some lfg people, they were in college and we asked where they were from and it turns out they lived 7 minutes from me, they even knew my friends older brother, they called him throw up kid(long story).

Same thing happen to me, but while I was attempting to superman across the jumping puzzle in VoG. I was like, "Hey guys, check [i]this[/i] shit out! ...oh, god dammit." And proceeded to plummet to my death with a huge purple sphear floating above me as I fell. Awkward, to say the least.

So I needed to do nightfall and all my usuals were playing MKX, so I did recruitment. After a while I got a request and I accepted and added them to a party. One of them didn't have a mic, but the other one did, so when he connected I was like "hey what's up!!" And there was just silence for like 4 seconds until there was a large snort. The entire strike went basically like that, complete silence minus my occasional comment or something that went unaddressed. At the end I got an exotic I didn't deserve and they both left silently. I went to check out his profile and apparently he was German and had no idea what I was saying the entire time.

1 ReplyI'm not the best at Crucible but had a decent string of Iron Banner matches playing with random people where I was holding my own pretty well (first or second on the leaderboard). Join a new match with new people and do pretty crappy when the reward screen pops up with: Senor Leche found [i][b]Ice Breaker[/i][/b] Senor Leche found [i][b]Ghaleon's Demise[/b][/i] If you want to recreate my awkward feeling reaction make a frowny "YEESH" face, use your facial muscles to pull that frowny face as far down as you can, open your eyes up big and keep looking left and right, and slowly creep backwards out of the room.

2 RepliesWhen I see 3 opponents dancing at a control point and I stealthily sneak over... do my glide jump ready to unleash my super on those smug bastards.... except my Warlock only partially makes it through the doorway ... causing my Nova Bomb to bounce right off the doorway frame back into my own face...... *Guardian Down* Even worse... on the kill cam I can see the dancing has stopped but the waving and pointing has commenced..... think I'll just tuck my tail between my legs and head home now.....

1 ReplyOr my girlfriend talking to me about how happy she is that her Diva Cup came in the mail today while we are in the middle of a Crota raid and knowing that everyone can hear her she proceeded to explain in great detail what a Diva Cup is. It's a horrible disgusting thing and I'm sure it ruined everyone's evening last night. If you want to know what a Diva Cup is....look it up, more commonly referred to as a Menstrual Cup!
