So I just got a legendary heavy engram......
I'm afraid to take it to rahool. I know it probably isn't gally, but there's always that chance. IM SO NERVOUS

I got my first Gally this way and thought that would be the last way to get it but it actually happens. I may have turned in hundreds to him prior to that glorious one but its still a chance like any other to get one.

5 RepliesHey there is a way to almost certainly get an exotic out of it. Collect rare weapon engrams. Decrypt the rare weapon engrams and the second that one of the blue engrams turns in to a legendary decrypt the legendary engram and it will give you an exotic. You have a window of a few seconds to do it after the blue turns into a purple weapon. I thought it was BS but I did it with a legendary special engram and got Icebreaker. I already have all the exotics so it was worthless for me but I just wanted to check it and it actually worked.

The last several purple engrams I've cashed in were all shards.

3 of my 4 Gjallarhorn's were from legendary engrams.

Watch the video of how to get guaranteed exotics from legendary engrams. I haven't tried it but have been hearing tons of positive feedback.
