You can choose 6 weapons.
One exotic and one legendary for each slot. Those are now the only weapons you ever get to use. For me

1 ReplyThe Last Word and some scout rifle for raids. Probably the Crota one. Efrideet's Spear with Surplus, Field Scout and Final Round/ I don't use exotic secondaries, so I'd take Praedyths Revenge if that's allowed. If not, disregard that. Gjallarhorn/one of my legendary rocket launchers with Proximity, Field Scout and Clown Cartridge.
