Crota and VOG Loot Gear (Normal vs Hard)?
Hello, can someone please explain how the loot works for Crota and VOG. Like Playing one on Normal effects this on Hard and you can only get this here on Normal etc... and perhaps a good stragedy to do.

3 RepliesI'll do my best to explain. Croat and VoG have loot pools that you can pull from. Normal mode and hard mode have separate pools. Each normal mode drops weapons you can't get from hard mode. In the same way hard mode drops weapons and armor you can't receive from normal. Let's use crota as an example. On crota normal you can receive the black hammer, but only in crota hard can you receive the abyss defiant. Material drops work in a stacking nature. Running hard mode before normal will give you material drops for normal and hard, because you have not completed normal. I hope I answered any questions you may have had.
