People actually think Reach is a good game?

Looks like they seem to be forgetting about these things: - The DMR is the most bullshit weapon in any game. And for a spawning weapon, its way too damn powerful against everything. It outmatches every other gun in the game besides the Sniper Rifle. When Bungie described this gun as "like having a Death Star in your hands" they weren't kidding. - The Sniper Rifle is an anti-everything rifle and is way too easy to use in this game. It also shouldn't be able to destroy vehicles as quickly as it does. The Sniper Rifle has a faster kill time on vehicles than the Rocket Launcher, Splaser, Plasma Launcher, and Fuel Rod Gun. Why even bother having those in the game if the Sniper Rifle can do it better and faster? - Every vehicle is made out of plastic and this butchered vehicle gameplay. Instead of having the vehicle's health based on the operator's health like it should be, Bungie decided to change that and give vehicles their own health. In Halo 2 and Halo 3, you could take a Warthog that had its hood blown apart, bumpers destroyed, chassis bent/crushed, and you could still use it and kick ass with it as long as you kept your shields up. In Reach, you get in a vehicle and you're making your own death wish. In Halo 2, it takes about 13-15 Frag Grenades to destroy a Scorpion and the Scorpion can't be destroyed by normal ground weapons like the SMG, BR, etc . It only takes about 6-7 Frags to destroy a Scorpion in Reach or a couple mags from a DMR to destroy one. Pathetic. Its a tank god dammit not a big oversized cardboard box. - The grenades are too overpowered and they were never nerfed either, even from the feedback we gave Bungie after the Beta. Oh yeah, good luck trying to dodge the blast radius of them because they're god damn mini-nukes. One blast from a Frag Grenade will take down your shields and send your health all the way to the red range. - Reach also has the slowest gameplay of any Halo game. Reach has the slowest movement, lowest jump-height, and weakest Spartans of any game. Also, adding health packs also ruins gameplay. Not only do you have to worry about your shields, you have to worry about your health and look around the maps for health packs. - Armor Abilities destroyed Halo gameplay as we know it. The jetpack allowed players to get to positions they aren't supposed to. Armor Lock is the most stupidest gimmick in any game I have ever played because it allows the player to "pause" the game and make them invincible when they're in it. Hologram is completely useless. Active Camouflage should be called Broken Camouflage because you can't even move without being seen and the radar jam gives away your position. Evade was completely broken when Spartans used it because they went further than Elites. The Drop Shield is just a half-assed version of the Bubble Shield from Halo 3. - Reach introduced Bloom and Bungie fooled everything thinking that "it takes skill" even though it doesn't. Bloom is based on luck and all you gotta do is spam your gun and hope the bullet magnetism and aim assist helps you out. - 85% of the maps you play on in the game are shitty Forge maps. Paradiso, The Cage, Asylum, Hemorrhage, Pinnacle and various others are some of the worst, most insulting, and most frustrating maps I have ever played on. They feel like and look like someone at Bungie made them on their lunch break with one hand tied behind their back. The base maps in the game are copy/pasted straight from the campaign, leaving absolute zero originality on Bungie's part. I didn't have a single favorite map in Reach. Some of the DLC maps were nice. Too bad you never have the chance to play on them unless its a custom game. - While Reach had the best Forge mechanics at the time, there was only 1 map to Forge on and that was Forge World. This lead to every map having the same infamous ugly grey/green/blue color palette to look at. There were options on the objects that allowed you to change the color but you could barely see any difference. - Invasion was this new, fresh gametype that Bungie was talking about and getting us all hyped for the longest time. Then the game came out and it was thrown under the rug so fast you almost forget about it. Invasion only had 2 maps to play on and I'm not gonna count those shitty Forge maps. Two maps. Oh and because Reach's weapon sandbox is shit because the DMR ruins everything, the Elites were screwed in every Invasion match unless you were on a well coordinated team. - This game has no ranking system in multiplayer. Arena was a sorry excuse of ranks and it took too long to get ranked in Arena. Nobody gave a shit about Arena either as it always had the lowest population. The only way to "rank up" in Reach is to get cR. The longer you play the game, the more cR you get. So people didn't give a shit about winning as long as they kept getting their cR they didn't care if they win or lose. Commendations were added to allow you to get bonus cR which lead to endless hours of grinding. Maybe this was the experiment for Destiny's grinding? Who knows. - Reach, a game to supposedly have a stronger game engine than any Halo game prior, had Theater downgraded. I believe you could have up to 8 people in Halo 3 watch a film in Theater, a game weaker than Reach technical wise. In Reach, only 1 person can watch films in Theater. - Everything that made ODST's Firefight special was thrown out the window with the introduction of Reach's Firefight mode. Because of cR and Commendations, Firefight was treated as a mini-game and grindfest for cR, destroying everything ODST's Firefight stood for. Instead of fighting to survive, you're fighting to see who gets the most cR at the end of the match. The only things this game does right is the armor customization for Spartans, UI, and Forge mechanics. Everything else about this game was downgraded and shatted on by Bungie. There... that's everything I got. If I missed anything, feel free to add on.
