Hi Deej, I need an explanation of the logic: Green engrams ALWAYS become guns and armor. They NEVER get decrypted into gun parts or armor mats. We dismantle them if we don't want them. Blue engrams either become guns and armor or Motes or Strange Coins. They NEVER get decrypted into gun parts or armor mats. We dismantle them if we don't want them. Purples either become guns and armor or ascendant mats. Why the difference? The other engrams don't even have the ability to be decrypted into mats. We don't get the choice to dismantle the item. I personally LOVE to get different guns and armor with different perks. If I happen to get a gun or armor that has better perks then one I already have, I level it up and dismantle the other. If I have something better I dismantle it. If I need the mats I dismantle it. I really think this is something Bungie could easily change that would make a lot of us happier.
