Words can't Explain how much I love the series, and how amazing and how sad I felt after finishing them. It just has the perfect adventure and... just... everything.
I'm in a really feelsy mood and since I've had jack shit to do for a few months, I decided to watch all the LOTR movies and the hobbit movies straight. I had watched them before, but I have been reminded on how fantastic they are. Now I will go re-read the LOTR stuff.
Edited by Handsome Jack: 4/6/2015 12:28:54 PMI own them all. Only seen the first two. They're special edition extended in HD. I read the first one though. When it comes to the books, The Hobbit is my thing. I also really liked the first Hobbit movie.

When I'm cleaning or doing random things like organizing stuff, I'll play the extended editions. I think my record was 3 viewings of each in a 4 day period. Some gimli's best lines aren't in the theatrical edition. Also gandalf soloed a boss fight before it was cool and he got chatter white for doing so.
-
I borrowed my grandpas extended trilogy collection that came with the appendices and solo'd that shit twice in a couple days. So many feels
-
"It's your burden to bear so I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!" Everyone. EVERYONE, cried.
-
I got more feels when Oberyn Martell got killed in Game of Thrones than I did in the entire LotR franchise.
-
I never saw the Hobbit movies so I think I'm disqualified.
-
We are aware of the epicness of rings
-
ayy lmao
-
The entire Return of the King is so packed with all the feels that it's impossible to contain it all within the mind of a man.
-
I loved the books, what I remember about most for rotk movie was how much I needed to pee. lol.....
-
I've never had the nine hours to spare in order to marathon the movies.
-
Absolutely love the series, it always gives me those feels. ;o;
