leave exotics alone

stop nerfing. What is the point of having an exotic status if more than half of all exotic weapons are not worthy of being "exotics". Honestly only a few exotic weapons are truly exotic, because their use applies to any situation and not just being good in certain situations. Here is a list of what pros and cons and how to bring exotics back to their rightfully powerful status, starting with the worst. (I don't have PS so no exclusives are on this list, although Hawkmoon is honestly the only good exotic exclusive) 1. No Land Beyond: When I found out about an exotic sniper that was a primary, I was thrilled. But when I used it, I was disappointed. The iron sights take up way too much room on the screen, it takes forever to rechamber a round, and the accuracy is so off. It's fun to use, but not fun at the same time. It needs low zoom, NO LENS FLARE, accuracy boost, elemental damage, rechamber speed boost and ammo reserve increase. 2. Dragon's Breath: Just give it proximity or tracking. I know it's supposed to be for area of denial on slow moving enemies, but even Va'lus Ta'aruc can move away from the solar flares. The ONLY character that this weapon works on is Vex Cyclops and the soul of crota, because they CAN'T MOVE. 3. Necrochasm: This should be at the top of the list, honestly. It is one of the hardest weapons to acquire and one of the worst to use. It's ugly, it's inaccurate, it's exotic upgrade can't even be used, as it's almost impossible to land a precision kill. Oh and it has no impact at all (2/100). Why is it even a gun? WHY? It's only worth the exotic shard you get when you destroy the stupid thing. 4. Hard Light: It's alright. But it is definitely lacking. Give it the ability to shoot through things like Phalanx shields, knight shields, boost the damage in PvE. I would say have it shoot through ward of dawn, but since Xur recently sold it, too many people have it now to go along with that idea. 5. Bounty Weapons: Bad Juju was fixed. Thorn shines in PvP, which is fine. Invective is fine (p.s. It's a shotgun people, stop crying about it being OP in PvP). Pocket Infinity: Honestly it is not worth the very long bounty that you have to complete to get it. Super Good Advice: Recoil sucks, damage is lacking, but it's easy to get. Weapons that perform ok (PvE): The Last Word, Plan C, Truth, SUROS (nerfed), Universal Remote Weapons that deserve their exotic status: Ice Breaker, Red Death, Bad Juju, Gjallarhorn, Thunderlord, MIDA multitool

I use the thing to wreck Devil Walkers. 3 rockets left, right, left. 3 more rockets right, left, right. Sniper, one shot one leg, one shot another leg, one shot another leg, it's over. Last thing I need is proxy detonation and some random shank flying past. Better if they just add an ignite perk to the solar flare to continue damage to all enemies it touches, even if they leave the flare.

    • Hardlight is fine, however it's Ricochet rounds would prevent it from penetrating anything resembling a shield since the Shield is Hardened and they would bounce right off!, if anything the Glass half Full Perk should be replaced with something like High-Caliber rounds, or Grant a MUCH higher damage bonus (PvE and PvP). In Crucible the Skip Rounds effect has few surfaces to bounce off (most walls seem too soft to bounce them). Dragons Breath: the flare is a problem most enemies seem to walk away from it (if a boss, High end Major/Ultra), lesser enemies just stop on the other side of it and shoot at you (unless a Hive then they just sit back and wait), however if the Flare had a Flame "Pulse" (think like Striker Fist of Panic) would improve it in PvE (and make it ONLY for PvE), However I have found that i can use the Flare to "Direct" Rockets McDickface to where i want him....sometimes, pushing him into a corner where his rockets hit the ceiling above him! (if you have run his strike enough you know the Corners I'm talking about!) No Land Beyond: Had 2 Dismantled both it's good for a free exotic shard, same with the Exotic Bounty weapons after getting 1 per Character i just dismantle the rest for shards. NechroChasm: Another Worthless weapon, Eidolon Ally is the better version IMHO. waaaay too jumpy, accuracy is a joke, impact is worthless, and it's an Auto Rifle! (damage nerf, and Precision Damage Nerf), Low Accuracy/Stability....Strike, No Impact.....Strike, Auto Rifle (Nerfed).....Strike, Random Drop on a Hard Raid to get (after being Upgraded from a white, to Purple)......Strike. Thats 4 Strikes against this weapon (five if you count the AR Damage nerf's twice.....1 for base damage, and 1 for precision damage), only takes 3 strikes for me to shard a weapon soo this is a non-issue I will never upgrade the Ally to this gun......only way i would is if they Stabilize it's recoil, boost it's Impact (to around 35 or 40), and maybe add some kind of "Elemental" Damage to make it worth the Exotic Slot.
