Customizable d-pad moves
I think that there should be more moved that are activated by the d-pad that could be changed in the menu. One of my ideas would be for trick shooters, it would be the character throwing their hands in the air

How about having the ability to set commands like use of synthesis while holding the left trigger and inputting a direction. No need to go into your menu for most used items to make things quicker.
